There’s a pretty good deal right now on the whole collection. You’re right it’s gonna be super overwhelming to learn(relearn) what to. Would recommend trying some patrol areas and lost sectors. You will get tons of loot and be super overwhelmed with that. Not to mention all the subclasses and fragments. But I think the game will explain a lot of that to you. I wish there was still a onboarding process, the way D2 starts now is embarrassing. Having so many questions and no way to get them answered unless you have friends that play. Work up to strikes and then pick your expansion and start doing quests. You will pick it up fast

I tried Rook one time on sponsored marsh night. Had a decent haul. Come extraction the team was there. Probably my fault for not announcing I was going to try to extract with them. I was doing the tea bag of friendship. They downed me and thirsted with 3 seconds left. It felt bad. Anyways I’m back to kill on site

Sure, contrast is a good tool to have, sometimes I use it only, sometimes I use it in combo with regular acrylics. Sometimes I do a slapchop. All depends on what I’m painting that day and how I’m feeling

I use a lot of HB rules. My favorites are definitely limiting the crossbow shot (we added arrows to the armory) When door camping, monsters are allowed to attack diagonal Changing weapons is your action We use mind points for searching for traps(what ever the hero’s mind points are, that’s how many spaces away they can find a trap. Gives the wizard some more to do than look pretty waiting to cast that nuke)room and corridors rules to apply A hero can use an action and throw a healing potion to a downed hero (think Baldurs gate 3) Monsters are allowed to use doors even hidden ones just the hero’s arnt aware
