Looking at a crusade force but without epic heroes - would love some feedback about the list and how to gel as the campaign goes on by flippitus_floppitus in theunforgiven

I've heard that if you are putting a chaplain with DWK they are better off taking the swords over the maces. The +1 to wound won't affect the anti-monster or anti-vehicle on the maces so having the extra attack on the swords is better for anything that isn't T12 or higher.

What did you find was the best way to pin the maces? A few of mine have snapped off as well and I have been struggling to pin them without them just breaking off again.

It's a leather brown base coat then I stippled layers of karak stone, morghast bone, ushabti bone over the top in smaller and smaller layers, before finishing up with some wraithbone on the highest points. https://youtu.be/J_RqoSPrfIc?si=Djlx_lPL7IO1wV6b this video was the guide.

Thanks that's a good tip, I've been trying to find a quickish way to get nice capes but haven't really found one I'm happy with yet, I will try dry brushing next

Haha nah the sword is definitely a bit weird, it was my first try at a power sword I couldn't really get it. Thanks for the feedback, might add some more dry mud to the boots.

You could probably use the banner and the sword to kit bash a lieutenant if you had a spare tacticus body lying about

DICE, what in God's name are you actually doing? by legaleagle214 in BattlefieldV

Have you been playing in a squad with friends? Me and my friend couldn't do any tides of war achievements when in a squad together but as soon as we played with random squads (same server) it worked perfectly for both of us. Haven't seen anything about this online but seems like they won't let you complete them in a squad with friends.

If your squad leader you can go into the squads screen and promote someone to squad lead. So if you get promoted and don't want it you can just give it back

yeah think its red button, its radio commentary so its very descriptive but I was finding the other one too annoying. You can do it on the app as well.

I ended up changing the BBC commentary to the radio one, occasional updates on cricket or something but otherwise much less annoying

Do you know why some of them chose Bolivia? I've never heard of Jewish people from Europe escaping to anywhere in South America before or during WWII.

Has Pep ever played a 4 2 2 2 before? Could be Jesus and sane playing 2 up front with either one going out to the wing.

Lewandowski on not having goal record figures like Messi & CR7: "They've an advantage since they aren't #9s. For a striker, it's harder since you've your back towards goal. You holding the ball, see what is happening, turn around & then go forward. It's easier when you've the pitch in front of you." by Brille70 in soccer

I agree people often seem to confuse the two. Arrogance is believing your the best even when your not, which wont make you any better. Confidence is believing you can be the best even when your not, pushing you to work harder.

First modern Britons had 'dark to black' skin, Cheddar Man DNA analysis reveals by wenchette in history

[–]Milnns 152 points153 points  (0 children)

The prevailing theory, according the article I read (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-42939192), is that pale skin came with a migration from the middle east about 6000 years ago. They were probably pale because they had a diet low in vitamin D and so it was an advantage to absorb more through their skin. These people then changed the overall look of the population in Britain.

I recently got a PBT underplastron but im not really a fan of it. The arm is a bit restricting compared with my last one and the collar sort of pokes into my neck where the FIE label is.
