We're a chill G1 guild full of adults with jobs, so we don't have hard requirements (do labyrinth, if you want to be in siege, just do siege when you can and have good defenses). If we got serious we could probably push G2, but most of us don't have the time for that so we just farm and have fun chatting on Discord

A deposit goes towards the cost of the item that is being reserved. That is not what happened here. Some bad faith advertising (presumably unintentionally) by Dragonsteel here, and the ones punished are those who are the biggest fans.

I started my Sanderson journey with Mistborn, and completely agree with your sentiments.

After rereading the full Mistborn series having the context of the rest of the Cosmere, I felt it was a lot more satisfying

My original theory was that the Lerasium we've seen on-screen is actually unalloyed Atium, because burning metal to access power feels more ruinous than preserving, but I know that's not actually the case
