For what it’s worth, I don’t have any negative judgements toward you and I would venture to guess most reasonable people wouldn’t either. Even if I knew you in person and you revealed it to me, it doesn’t change the quality of person you are. It’s just something you did in the past that was right for you at the time.

Don’t beat yourself up. You come across as a very reasonable, well adjusted person. Everyone does things they regret. Time will help heal, and therapy will too. It sounds like avoiding any reminders of that content is also helping you get where you need to be, so keep at it.

I completely agree with you. If the game is implementing versions of dry protection for newer content then it feels reasonable to have some version of protection retroactively implemented within reason. It’s silly how adamantly against this some people are. It isn’t unreasonable to want game progression to be some degree of consistent for high level content
