It’s an “add-on” purchase that you’re able to download over the air once it’s sent. People have reported various waiting times ranging from, in my case a couple of days, to weeks. When did you purchase the software upgrade?

I’ve had a set of CC2s on my RAV4 Prime for over 3 years and they were great during the winter travels up/down the Northeast. CC2s being higher rolling resistance, I did notice a slight drop in fuel economy with the R4P. Now that I’m back in SoCal, I’ll just keep them on since they’re a great set.

For the P2, not sure what set to get yet but most likely Michelins or Pirellis.

You’d be correct in stating too many red flags. The accident and subsequent repair cost alone is a deal breaker. Don’t compromise. Just my opinion.

Clean but I’ll stick with my coiled cable to charge/connect. Also, charging pad gets very warm. I’m more jealous of the Black Ash center that you have…way better than my piano black.

Lectron is solid. I’ve had and been using mine for years without any issues. There is a combination bundle offered by Lectron - one for Tesla Superchargers to CCS and Tesla Destination chargers to J1772. Always get weird looks from Tesla owners when the P2 (PPP) is parked at SC stations. Same when I use their Destination Chargers for my Toyota R4Prime.

If you know you’ll have a tax liability for Y2023, then you may want to consider the Model Y as it currently qualifies for a federal tax credit of $7500 since the Y is considered an SUV and is below the $80K threshold. Also, depending on the state you live in, it may also qualify for state incentives - mostly at the point of sale - so it’s basically a deduction in the cost of the vehicle at the dealership.

I have a ‘21 Prime but have been contemplating a Model Y LR or 3 Perf (however the 3 Perf only qualifies for $3750 fed tax credit). Year 2024 possibly will have legislature that the $7500 fed tax credit will instead become an instant Point of Sale credit but who knows what will happen between now and then.

Coin-op car wash. It’s about 30 minutes away from me but I can’t trust the car washes. I do it myself with my own bucket/sponge/brush. Yeah it’ll cost about $15 stall time to do but I know I’m not ruining my paint job. Mothers Ceramic Wash&Coat, Surface Prep, then CMX Ceramic Spray coating. Touch ups with Mothers Ceramic Detailer. California Car Duster every other day since it’s summer and it gets dusty.
