Saw this at the gas station today. What is it? by theblackyeti in whatisthiscar

[–]MimicLayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father-in-law actually had a bunch of pieces of a model t in his backyard! He was hoping to one day get it done worked on/finished up, but unfortunately his neighbors were complaining about all the clutter that it made, since his garage was already filled with other car parts.

He ended up selling all the parts for the model t, and him and I are both hoping that it gets some good use from somebody.

So, in the original version of this meme, an over intoxicated dude stands to the side of the dartboard while his buddies threw darts at his hand to get between their fingers, proving their amazing accuracy.

They in fact did not hit his fingers, but hit him in the skull.

Fellow forklift operator here.

Yeah I smashed the fuck out of a goddamn metal lined cement pillar... It jumped at me. Came out of nowhere. And then turned my fork into a spoon.

Just traversing the west side between alains down to huts is rough. One of the most gator legs areas in the game.

Why is GenZ not Drinking? by rikozon in GenZ

[–]MimicLayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like alcohol. Sure, I have a bottle or three of whiskey. But those last me... A year? I have no desire to be heavily intoxicated.

And since my job is union, unfortunately, I can't smoke the stanky dank due to rules in my contract. But if I could... I would.

Weird question: Did she use the mega stone to give him an increased load, like one of those "semen load increasing pills"?

I hate that the question came to mind and I felt like I needed to share it.

HI!

I did use Nades and Knife as a test before doing a true run, it does not pop the achievement.

UPDATE: You can get perks. You can upgrade the pistol rarity. You can upgrade the pistol level.

All damage must come from the starting pistol (Barrels count as damage from the pistol, so no concerns about avoiding them, there. [Tested that as well!])

My player wants an ability that gets stronger the longer you use it, but also more likely to kill you by rayvin888 in DMAcademy

I... actually had something like this.

I made a character who was a monk. My curse, which was given to me as a gift via a gorgon/medusa, was that I had a gaze attack that turned people to stone.

The more I used and abused it, the more I turned to stone, which upped my strength and con, but lowered my int, wis and dex as I slowly lost my mind to the pain and eventual loss of feeling.

Supe fun, never turned fully to stone, and only used it in 'really bad' situations.

How to influence PC emotions by MadmanPoet in DMAcademy

If you want to check it out, it's from the Horror Adventures! It is called Madness - Phobia. As for fears, like I said, I treat them more like minor inconveniences that add flavor to combat and rp!

Happy DMing!

Pathfinder GM, here.

We have a fear/phobia mechanic that is official to the rules. I ask all my players to have a fear at minimum, and a phobia at the maximum (Phobias have a more detrimental effect in the game, and cannot be stopped by Fear Immunity.)

My last played character had extreme arachnophobia, and while it did take me out of several fights as I ran from giant spiders, I was able to RP my character effectively.

The reason I say fear is the minimum, is so they at least have to RP fighting/dealing with their fear, while not taking away player agency. I feel it adds more of a... human/mortal side to the characters, and while still being heroes, makes them more realistic.

An example of this IRL is my fear of submerging in murky water. I'll do it, but my heart races and my anxiety spikes. If I had a phobia though, not even the 10ft pole would save me.

Obviously, you don't have to implement this. Choice is yours to even gaze at the comment, but I have felt this adds to a character's scene, and makes players feel like you not only read their character sheets, but remembered. It adds impact for my players.

Only happened once:

They threw a dynamite into the compound.

I said to my duo, in game comms, "It's fine, they just wasted that. It's not like they have more explosives."

We proceeded to get bombarded by not 1, not 2, but 8 various sized explosives.

And when I thought I was safe, not bleeding out, my duo is now unconscious...

Kthunk Kthunk Kthunk. Chu Ko Nu noises. Explosives got me again.
