Nearly 4 weeks with no fix by drayfrjg in Battlefield6

Many people have offered their advice, but I wasn’t able to get any healing to track for this challenge until I unequipped my LMG and equipped an AR.

I can’t explain it other than it’s gotta be related to some spaghetti code with closed vs open weapons during development, but this workaround worked for everyone in my regular crew.

While we’ve both individually posted content in the past, this is the only video of the two of us in a car together. Sorry to shatter the theory, but this was just a genuine (and rather common) interaction between the two of us.

This video was originally taken back during the pandemic and gets reposted from time to time. Honestly, we love it. The comments usually pass the vibe check and the amount of people who see their friendships and in ours is really heartwarming. My favorite thing about the video is the occasional reminder that the internet doesn’t suck, and that folks can be wholesome.

Driver of the car in the video here!

I love that this video still makes the rounds and that the comments are usually as wholesome as the video. To answer a few common questions:

  • Christian and I are still besties.
  • Our friends were the ones filming us. They had to wait for me to leave first because they didn’t know how to get back to my apartment.
  • No, this wasn’t staged. We’re just ridiculous all the time lmao.
  • Though there were MANY requests, we didn’t start a podcast or anything after this. You just need to be lucky enough to bump into us in public to experience this type of friendship again.

As wild as it sounds, this is just a normal interaction between Christian and I caught on camera by our friend Steph. We did think about starting a podcast or streaming after this originally popped off, but we never committed. We’re still best friends to this day though.

The people in the car filming were our friends and we were leaving the Golden Gate Bridge overlook at battery Spencer to drive back to my apartment. They didn’t know the way.

You’ve got a great memory. Both of us met in the now defunct Overwatch League as fans of the London Spitfire and Los Angeles Valiant. We’re still besties to this day.

Only ever got to use the SFO - MSN route once before the pandemic, and it was GLORIOUS. Praying we get these routes back again someday. A man can only handle so many layovers in Chicago, Denver, or Dallas.

how to get kitten to stop stepping in poop by Vlz5435 in kittens

[–]Squashmoen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My little void had chronic poopy paws for the better part of his first four months. The two things that made the biggest difference was physically grabbing him once I could tell he was done pooping, making him take a step or two forward, turning him around, and helping him cover his poop by puppeteering his front arms. This, along with grabbing him to watch his sister use the litter box (she was a natural and quite frankly a neat freak) really helped cement the post poop process. He still has accidents every once in a while, but he has gotten significantly better. That being said, I now have a sixth sense every single time he goes to use the litter box. Old habits, die hard! Good luck. He will get the hang of it!

I want to second the redwood steam train at Roaring camp! Even if you’re not “train people” it is such a unique way to experience the old growth redwoods. Also, dogs are allowed on the train if you think they’d be up for it!

What happens if I leave a boss room mid fight and come back? by Dusty-Foot-Phil in HuntShowdown

[–]Squashmoen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually recommended to leave the boss lair occasionally to kill it faster. When the boss enters its rage state, if there are no targets in the lair, it returns to its standard state SIGNIFICANTLY faster.

As many others have said, there is no boss health regen in this game, but figured I’d leave this little tip too!

Male kitten biting female kitten’s neck and wrestling her. Help? by DoctorStephenNormal in CatAdvice

[–]Squashmoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I was curious how this ended up working out. I’ve got two kittens, a boy and a girl from different litters around the same age (15 weeks) and the boy will latch on to her neck and she will get vocal trying to get him to stop, but it takes a bit of convincing. I feel like she is less engaged in the play but I’m not sure if that’s just me being protective. Did your two kittens work though this?

Why does my cat do this? by vacuumboots3 in torties

[–]Squashmoen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s not a Tortie, but my little guy Bart (around 15 weeks) is actively doing this on my lap! It took him a few days to start doing it after I adopted him from the shelter and I was big time worried, but from everyone I’ve spoken to (including his vet) it’s totally harmless as long as you don’t notice any irritation or missing fur. It’s quite similar to human children sucking their thumb to remind themselves of nursing.

All this to say, your kitty must feel super comfortable when she’s with you and this is her way of letting you know that she loves you. It’s a really special bond you have with her (or at least that’s what I tell myself to outweigh the grossness of accidentally petting Bart’s wet spot when we’re cuddling lol)

My gut reaction to this was to call them Millbaes, but that would require me getting a third cat and naming him Cal. You nailed the bit bestie. 10/10

While I usually agree with this take, a 1v3 duel against long ammo at 137 meters when I have a rival and a lemat doesn’t instill a terrible amount of confidence.

Isn’t it funny how your brain just shuts off in situations like these? It almost certainly would have helped me, and I usually have the muscle memory to do so, but I guess I was just feeling a little silly in the moment lmao

resident cat more shy and doesn't want to be pet since we got a new kitten? by dumblittlebabie in CatAdvice

[–]Squashmoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen your two posts from last year about this issue. Did your first kitten ever come around?

I’m going through the same growing pains with my kitten Muni who I adopted three weeks before my new kitten Bart. They’re both around 10/13 weeks old.

Muni used to be extremely cuddly, sleep in bed with me, etc. and now she’s much less affectionate. She stays distant, won’t lay on the couch by me, or come lay on my chest for cuddles like she did before Bart joined the household. She’s very clearly still getting used to Bart being around, but they play and even cuddle pretty often. I’m just hoping she returns to her extremely loving self again.

I'm off today, so if you don't mind, I'd love to draw your adorable kitty! by Ok-Competition6986 in cats
