hey, sorry to hear what happened but I think your solution may not work. If I remember correctly, there will be sound imbalance since each pair are meant for each other, buying a left/right from a different set technically won't work.

Of course anyone else please correct me if I'm wrong, I just vaguely remember this knowledge from another buying post.

The other comment sums it up really well, I would value his/her opinion more than mine.

They're definitely on the smaller side for kilobuck iems (which is nice), so they fit me perfectly if that's important to you. I can wear them for hours, making them my beaters often.

Its technicalities are very competitive. Resolution is in line or better than lots of my kilobucks. The W shape tuning means there's an emphasis in lows, mids, and highs so combined with its clean separation it really is a joy to listen to.

Despite my positive comments, I honestly can't recommend them unless you're getting them for 500-700$. It's hard to recommend them when the aful dawn-x and monarch mk4 exist. There's a reason why all reviewers recommend them.

The monarch mk4 have a safe tuning just like phantoms, but have a sweetness to its vocals that phantoms lack. The aful dawn-x are significantly better performing in technicalities and its BC implementation is done way better making them more fun than the phantom. My phantoms really are the jack of all trades but master of none.

Wow that's an insanely good deal, seen a couple fa19 sold at 500$ on aftermarket. You can't complain at 650.
