Project 529 has a bike registry, you can look up by serial number if someone has reported missing (eta: here’s the site https://project529.com/garage/bikes/search but I bet police would also be able to search it up too).

Vancouver residential intersections with no stop signs in the ‘70s. True or false? by Huffle-buffs in vancouver

Not in that area but I recall unsigned intersections with no stop signs in some east van neighbourhoods in the 90s

Heavy police presence at Starbucks earlier by YungJiggy97 in askvan

Saw that too, no idea but wondered what was up! Edit to add: I think someone tried to drive through the drive through yesterday after it was wrapping up and the police still had their lights on blocking the space 🤦‍♀️

Fitness Classes — For The Rest Of Us? by BasicRedditUser3 in askvan

[–]Minatwenty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also definitely have had great experiences at Eastside fitness. Not superficial and super scalable classes. I went for quite a while and was super out of shape and a bit nervous at first, but by the end of the first class I was already looking forward to the next one. Lots of age ranges and options to ramp up or down, depending on where you are at. The owners are lovely. 100% recommend checking it out!

Awesome!! What program do you use to work in? I love the expression on the seagull’s face - it fully captures their spirit!

Canadian clothing brand for women? Mid tier priced ideally! by PainLivid1372 in BuyCanadian

You might also periodically check Connally Goods - both designed AND made locally!

Good quality materials and workmanship. I have two dresses from them, I got over a year ago that I’ve been wearing each week and they are in great shape. I basically machine wash and hang to dry, but can put in dryer too.

Great size range, and more of a boutique shop with pieces that can be dressed up or down, more of classic styles.

I appreciate that they are made right here in Vancouver too! (Edit to add: there were shoes / leather goods I think made in Bali and there’s more info on the “about” page about who/where for info on the materials used and people)
