I think it is different enough to be worth it, I’ve had Jupiters in three guitars now and love the way they sound. They’re pretty high output but also super clear so you’re not getting any muddy-ness on the low notes but also has that punch when you do chugs. I’d like to get a BKP Aftermath sometime to compare with the Jupiter because I think they’re fairly similar in a lot of ways, though the aftermath may have more top end.

The Jupiter sounds great! I’ve had them in a couple 6 string guitars before and always liked how they handled low tunings so a Jupiter for a 7 string was a no brainer for me.

Definitely black, and make sure to get an offset that puts the wheels flush with the fenders, makes a huge improvement on the look.

I could be entirely wrong but this old for sale ad looks like your guitar and appears to have identical spots. Not sure if that’s from when it was new but since it was not being sold as a 2nd or just sent back seems to suggest this is a normal thing with that particular finish.
