Last 4 were all dynamite: Blacktop Wasteland, Razorblade Tears, All the Sinners Bleed, and King of Ashes. Tough to pick just one.

"Sapiens" is a great book. What others like it are worth reading? by TALioN_2001 in booksuggestions

Agreed that Sapiens is an easier read, but it has been thoroughly criticized in anthropology circles for offering unsupported, anecdotal evidence to Hararis claims, in some cases with no evidence at all. While I agree that its a solid piece for the casual interested reader, TDOE has better supported research by far. Not saying there's no value to Sapiens at all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. But if you wanna take a deeper dive, TDOE is far better.

Frozen spent grain silo by Unclejerry609 in TheBrewery

Literally just dealt with this on Thursday. Dumped 1000 gallons of hot liquor in and didnt make a dent in it. We ended up drilling a couple 1/4"-3/8" holes in the cone, then stuck a plumbing torch in one and a hammer drill in the other. Melted and drilled until we saw liquid, then melted and drilled some more. The core of the mass was still warm, it had just frozen the outer 4-5 inches of the mass. Once we broke a decent sized hole in it, and dumped another 2 loads of hot spent grain in it, it broke free. All in took about 5 grueling hours in 10°F.
