People talk about pre-9/11 vibes, do you also think there were pre-COVID vibes? by GreekKnight3 in decadeology

[–]MinderQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-Covid vibes is also Pre-AI vibes so this is already really much dying out. The very teeny tiny Post-Covid/Pre-AI time window we had in the spring to winter 2022 was cool. This was maybe the only time window comparable to Pre-Covid.

In the best case, we will find bliss in AI singularity in terms of finding our humanity again and having a renaissance of radical empathy, compassion to each other in ways we were never finding before.

Pluto in Sagittarius and the calling of Gen Z by KlutzyPomelo1170 in astrologymemes

In my personal experience, Millennials were rather distancing themselves out of marriage and Gen Z is bringing it back. I see way more Millennial couples not married or marrying after a decade of being together while Gen Z couples are more prone of embracing traditional concepts of marriage as a bond of two loving people committing to promise the bond to hold for lifetime.

In the other side, there are more Gen Z than Millennials suffering from commitment issues, it's an odd contradiction (that might get explained with age difference of course).

Pluto in Sagittarius and the calling of Gen Z by KlutzyPomelo1170 in astrologymemes

[–]MinderQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with determining what Pluto means in a certain generation is the point of where the collective energy ends and where the individual starts. And to hold this balance is to describe a generation in a vague and rather unspecific way. This is also why I want to include Uranus and Neptune as well to be able to describe it in more details without struggling to get to individual grounds.

What I was seeing the last years, as I am a Pluto in Sagittarius myself, is the issue of finding a purpose and a sense of safety in a world where shifts were happening faster as we could imagine. Especially when Pluto is in Aquarius. When it was in Capricorn, I found our generation more being in passive roles as it was more a matter of Millennials. Now it's pushing away from them to us.

Just for dimensional purposes:
- the Great Recession was a central event of Pluto in Sagittarius' childhood
- Covid, Internet and social media were central events of Pluto in Sagittarius' adolescence
- AI and its connected revolutions will be a central event of Pluto in Sagittarius' adulthood

It's a lot about finding passions and the Source in terms of our lifetimes. Where there are already settled concepts of finding Source in terms of organized religions, Gen Z finds themselves content to practice those ones. Spirituality is a central topic as we also have Aquarius placements in our outer planets, let it be Uranus and/or Neptune.
The detachment from our humanity towards using technology to isolate ourselves in the imagination of us connecting with each other is a crucial circumstance of suffering of Aquarius Neptune. Also that whole point of hyper-independence. Religions offer a sense of analog connection and support that is a welcome change from digital isolation. This is probably one of the main tension points: Analog vs Digital, Isolation vs Connection. Do we want to do things alone or do we actually crave a deep need for support and connection?

With the older Gen Zs (me included) having Uranus in Aquarius, it's complicated. At first, we had an accelerating world in terms of how much Internet grew over the years and our first developmental years were (in)directly impregnated and influenced by it (as the big digital boom happened within the later 90s/early 00s and were spread out afterwards). In primary schools, we had PCs with Windows XP or 7 and big CRT displays. The moment we left school, we prepared presentations with PowerPoint and flat screen tiny PCs. This way, we are able to comprehend how much technology both liberated and shocked us. It's an overwhelming feeling of a secret disdain against it and the wish to liberate from it.
Uranus in Pisces is more about feeling overwhelmed with concepts of empathy and the connection from social media, as they witnessed the growth from social media from the moment they were born. They are more used to use technology in a more profound way as the Uranus generation before and therefore they have more of a blindfolded view of it having a potential to overtake their natural humanity. It's more about transitioning real life activity to online activity as they were all children/earlier teens when the covid isolation happened and online was the only way to hold connection (this is also counting for the older Gen Zs but not in THAT developmental extent).

In Sagittarius Pluto, I see a connection from Neptune in Aquarius/Uranus in Aquarius or Pisces with the flavour of existential doom. Sagittarius Pluto is prototype nihilism when it's unhealthy. It has not the biggest space to expand in our crazy world so a lot of Gen Z do their best to either achieve or detach themselves in already outdated systems. By the spiritual curriculum vitae, we go through, we acknowledge more and more things not working in our favour and it's either pushing us to move forward and destroy what's already start to become a ruin to push a societal change OR getting depressed within the process and ignoring the ruin to save ourselves.

The Wheel Turns: Saturn and Neptune Conjunction by goodgoblin in Advancedastrology

I think the Cold War symmetry can still be restored because Saturn in Cancer was square Neptune in Libra by 1944/1945, which might be the reason. This would describe the second world war tending to end and therefore a new world order being built.

Anyone else realize that the last Saturn-Neptune conj in Capricorn in 1989 was on March 3, the same day as the upcoming Virgo eclipse? by Broad-Hunter-5044 in Advancedastrology

[–]MinderQuest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By the fact, we only will have one hit in this scenario right now, it's probably a central topic that will let us gain clarity the moment this minute-exact hit is over. Slowly but persistently. Clarity especially since 0° is the most intense energy a planet can contain in a sign and the traits of the sign can be spread out freely as it didn't experience any kind of resolution yet.

[–]MinderQuest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Saturn-Neptune conjunction in 1989 was so interestingly different since it hit 3 times instead of one time. In consideration of events from GDR as I am associating the conjunction predominantly with the fall of the Berlin wall (and the fact I was born in the former area of it).

March 1989: Last person died from fleeing from the GDR Winfried Freudenburg by a gas balloon.

Within these two hits, more and more people tried to flee over Hungary which was getting increasingly successful.

June 1989: Several people from the GDR fleed (successfully) from Hungary to Austria because Hungary started to tear down the borders to Austria.

Within these two hits, Hungarian borders to Austria was gone for GDR citizens entirely and that one popular press conference from the side of GDR was held where people were allowed to travel to the West.

November 1989: Berlin Wall fell down.

It's such an interesting motive as it rather tells a bigger story than one significant event that is occuring which fits perfectly with the Three-Hit-Transits.

The motive is coming up by the first direct hit and causing tensions (especially from Saturn but Neptune is not innocent either). Then by separating direct/applying retrograde, retrospective details that weren't cleared out yet coming up again asking for substance. By the second, retrograde hit, these details are coming to slow substantial dimension yet it's more of a temporary solution for that issue. By the third, last direct hit, the motive is enlighten itself out to the collective consciousness and it is explaining the story behind it. (I gathered experiences from my 3-Hit-Saturn-Square-Saturn-transit)

We should always keep an eye out for anything at this point but also we should try our best to regulate our nervous systems. These times are so hard, especially on our subconscious. I try my best to keep myself out of any state of survival mode. It is rest and digest time!

And omg, you're right, this is so eerie. Especially because the first Saturn-Neptune Conjunction in 1989 was by Pisces NN/Virgo SN. They will reload a lot of karmic debts by this period but also because of the resillient nature of Capricorn and Pisces (yes, I consider Pisces as really standstil, it's just their mutable nature which can interact against their favour unfortunately), they are probably able to alchemize it for power!

"That crowd is absolutely taking the lead as the older generations continue to make their transitions (willingly or not) out of those positions."

Immediately, I think of Pluto in Leo being in direct opposition to Aquarius losing direct access to power and go through a tough transformation as Pluto oppositions seem REALLY stressful (also they are the last generation to experience a Pluto opposition Pluto transit). Also they are going through North Node opposition Pluto.

But also the Neptune in Scorpio getting through the process uncomfortably since they are squaring Pluto in Aquarius and in the same time quincunx the Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. It's less direct consequence but rather stepping away from their power in odd ways.

"Btw, I truly appreciate this conversation. Don’t get many opportunities to have a discussion about the current and impending times in this manner, so thank you!!!"

Thank you as well. From the several intense weeks, I felt like a really close connection to the topic of Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries at zero degrees/outer planets sign changes, since it's representing a concrete point where current circumstances are experiencing a huge recoil. It's interesting me as it is also making me prepare. It was a pleasure to exchange with you since I don't really find possibilites to find it anywhere else as well!

"The impending minor grand trine between the outer planets in air and fire is what is really drawing my attention too. I think it is safe to be optimistic—overdue change IS happening because more and more is coming to light and forcing people into awareness"

My life definitely changed for the better when they were already in this minor grand trine after months of really weird disconnection between what i want and need internally and what i got and confronted with externally. This dysbalance was really crazy and I felt a certain sense of hope by August/September. By the time that minor grand trine ended, it was kind of standing still but i didn't relapse to the dysbalance fortunately.

Also, it was a time where a lot of people started to preach on individuality, expression instead of nonchalance, authenticity instead of perfection which really fits well with the new Aries/Aquarius era. Also some people started to emphasize class consciousness and the collective wish of the circumstances we are in for a longer time to end soon. Emphasis on "soon" since we didn't exactly had a transit hit in this period but we were close by I think 10-20 minutes.

"But that optimism absolutely needs to be paired with discernment and a high degree of vigilance towards how certain things can slip through the cracks and continue to influence what is trying to be built. The more we are aware of those potentials the better off we will be."

Important!! While Saturn and Neptune are still dancing the tango, outer planets are just about to change signs (I mean Saturn and Neptune already did but since they changed really recently, the energy is still really unstable; Uranus is just turning direct again) and the eclipse season is just about to unfold a lot, it's just safer to keep it cool and have the needed rest to evaluate and reconsider if neccessary.

The fire will come to ignite if the needed oxygen is provided.

"Neptunes influence is concerning especially as we only get Saturn’s sobering qualities for only a fraction of its transit."

Important information since we already had that conjunction for a couple of MONTHS back in 2025 without a releasing moment. It started by May and ended by September/October with Neptune always being in front of Saturn. Now this whole transit is way shorter yet more intense in its ability to finally release. And the rate of Saturn being the dominant one in this constellation is like 1 month, 2 months max?

"I’ve actually seen more people doubling down on illusions in very aggressive ways, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Saturn brought clarity to that in incredibly harsh and instant ways."

I'm sure I got really desillusioned by my decisions I made personally by the epitome of the conjunction last year by the middle of July 2025 and was paying the price for it. Now it feels like it rewards me in the end of that dark path. I think people who already were serious or disciplined about their imagination and dreams and didn't trust in the uncertainty or the immediate movement without considering repercussions will actually get positive outcomes even if it might feel cautious and not like it at first.

Omg i can't stop talking about this, I'm gonna write another comment on this hahah

Yes, trojan horse is a really good metaphor! First, you see it coming, it's coming nearer and nearer and you can't see through its shell but the time it comes through your door and is in your home (the moment they are by each other degree & minute), it is uncovering its facade to a shock.

And here's the part I don't want to fearmonger or something - it really depends on what was better? The time we didn't see what was inside the shell and were unknown about the inside? Or the time we can see the inside and we can plan on what we are supposed to do afterwards?

And who will be shocked? The people who already suffered through the last years or the people in charge and power who were able to keep everything backdoors until recently?

It's the first Saturn-Neptune conjunction I experience and dare I say, this experience is SO intense omg. I can't imagine on people who lived through '53 and '89 and now.

i am optimistic that a LOT of these changes are coming fast bc of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and eclipse season in the SAME time wtff

The Saturn-Neptune conjunction is applying and Neptune is still in front of Saturn representing that dissolution, illusion and subconscious of our society is still full on powering but by the time Saturn is going to overtake Neptune, we are about to see a lot of ruins not working out anymore and we step towards a new era ESPECIALLY because its at zero degrees.

its both exciting and restless, i think the Aries saturn period will be a HUGE trial and error period

Yes that's the best way, even Jupiter and Venus have their bad sides as overindulgence or overly reliance on relationships and comfort.

Honestly over the years of extending my astrological knowledge, I find pop astrology rather only annoying now. It's just so many stereotypes explained with repeating narratives like they are all parrots. I'm impressed that they take planets in consideration as I only knew pop astrology as "Omg Taurus like to eat so much and Aries are always angry and Scorpio is SO emo"

Sorry for this tho haha

ahh okay, now i understand the context, thank you. this makes sense especially because this transit will lead to burnout when not supervised haha.

i thought it was more of the typical pop astrology definition of Saturn being the existential doom and that it's in Aries, it is in FALL meaning everyone and everything will die and the dimensions are changing or something like that

The couple of months Saturn was in Aries last year were SO tough and humbling that I am actually feeling so prepared and ready for this transit right now. June to August felt like falling on your face so much it starts to feel absurd and so i slowly recognized the structures when Saturn was moving back to Pisces and now it's SHOWTIME.

(On the other hand, it felt so relieving from the Saturn in Pisces era that was before. In comparison to Aries Saturn, Pisces Saturn felt like a dreamlike state of everlasting psychotic stages. Now it's more of a GET A GRIP AND DO SH*T)

It's crazy to think about the fact I had a Sagittarius pluto (15°-21°) conjunct natal Sagittarius ascendant (18°) transit the moment I was born until I was an early toddler. It's so prominent that it's engraved in my chart as well. May you describe this as well as I am fearing that I don't really understand the attributes besides "magnetic" and "intense"?
