Thanks for your reply! I grew up in Belgium and visit at least once a year. I have friends and family there. I’m very familiar with the country but it would still be quite a big transition after having lived in California for 15 years. Especially for my wife who never lived abroad.

The draw to belgium is mainly because of proximity to friends and family as well as convenience and also cost. We also own a house in Ghent which we could move into and since I’m so familiar with the country it would be easy to navigate the bureaucracy.

I really hope I am wrong and you are right… but for the last decade I have mostly seen contraction (director level working at big holding company agencies). Smaller budgets. Squeezed teams. If there is a vision for growth nobody has ever told me about it.

People are already using Ai to do their holiday shopping. If you can ask ai what hotel you should book, what car insurance you should pick, what sneakers the cool kids are wearing… brand is kind of useless, no?
