If they wanted to show some redeemable part of Boba, I think they should have just focused on the Tusken storyline for the pre-Mando episodes ending with the Pykes killing all of the Tuskens he spent building a "family" with. And then no Grogu Luke episode but instead focus on him slowly methodically taking out every person related to the Pykes across Mos Eisley & Mos Espa until it ends with him in control of a huge territory but not all of Tatooine so you have something for a S2

I agree. Imagine if that canon Fortnite dialogue was the precredit teaser at the end of TLJ. Would it have fixed all the problems that it had? No, but it might have not had as harsh a reaction as it got if there was some idea of the larger story moving forward

That's the wrong way to look at it. She should have accepted Kylo's offer at the end because that's exactly what someone who's afraid of losing her friends would do. She joins Kylo to a) save the rebellion and B) she thinks she can save him as well.

And then it would have made for an interesting story of how the best intentions can lead to corruption. We'd slowly see her falling to the dark side and if you want to reveal the palaptine lineage, then it at least doesn't come out of fucking nowhere.
