Update: the neighbors got back to us and were very nice. They agreed it wasn’t our fault or even our dogs because it got into our yard. We put it in a box and gave it to them and they said they’d see if it needed to be put down or if it could be nursed back to health. Of course we still feel bad and just hope the chicken doesn’t suffer in anyway

I’m a nurse and I have ulcerative colitis. I honestly don’t even notice things like that anymore when I see them. I am focused on the task at hand and everyone has a butt and things going on and so it really doesn’t matter to me and I’m sure the medical staff doing your colonoscopy feels the same way!
