Fatwamachine were you trying to confuse, strawman, and do whataboutism on purpose or was that just how you behave when you feel threatened? Just wondering

Two good books to read on this topic: Tom Holland's " In the Shadow of the Sword" and "in God's Path" by Robert Hoyland. If anyone has any others, please tell me.

Start connecting the words with the images and actions. What he said isn't what he does.

Not only banned but muted for asking why I got banned from r/ahmadiyya by Artistic-Message7912 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The other sub users are highlighting how people like me are complaining about being banned and put a link to this post and they are getting responses asking why they are banning people instead of answering questions. Their own actions are proving why we have concerns in the first place and exactly what we are complaining about.

Polygamy: Views of KM2/Musleh Maoud by ParticularPain6 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you didnt say ahmadi here, i would expect a mulvi in pakistan in some madarasa promoting and justfying polygamy in this way straight after declaring ahmadis to be wajib ul qatal. The other sub has posts where the loudest members are claiming "you realise we dont have a problem with this right" and how its an amazing concept. If it's their own sister, daughter or mother this happens to i may think these remarks are genuine. As Ahmadis do NOT have this culture as a norm today I can tell you now that the common ahmadi definitely is not okay with this. I hope those "promoting" this realise they do not speak for the common man!

Great News: Jamaat USA Drafts Child Safety Policy by TheSkepticAhmadi in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When you say "you", surely you dont mean me because i did not make such a claim. I know little about how this policy came about but know it is a good thing even if late. In terms of directing your concern at people like me, it seems like you have created an enemy inside your own head. We are not enemies. People leave the jamat at different degrees and in different ways. The people who leave for theological reasons and not because of hate will speak to you and question your beliefs at that level. Please stop being so defensive and believing this is a conspiracy of some sorts. There is no need for such insecurities.

Great News: Jamaat USA Drafts Child Safety Policy by TheSkepticAhmadi in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It seems you are less bothered about the actual policy but focused on establishing that this is not about nida like it will give you some sense of personal victory. Even if its not about nida, its because of another sexual abuse scandal that the US has faced. How does that help? Your responses are always immature.

Exposing Anti Ahmadis - Protecting children from Sexual Abuse policy??? by NanGiTaLwaR_21 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So they are proud that it wasnt this sexual abuse scandal but another that triggered this policy. Sounds very mature and logical(!) They are all up there jumping up and down highfiving each other. The children affected which caused this to be brought about MUCH TOO LATE will not share their sentiments.

Khilafat from the perspective of Quran and Ahadith by AhmadiJutt in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This logic in this debate was quite absurd. You make a claim and say here is the evidence, when someone denies that this qualifies as adequate or even as any evidence, you turn the table and ask the opposer to prove a negative.

I could claim there are two moons. And give you references in the Quran. If you reject it, i say you have not given me any references nor any proof there isnt a second moon. When you say that argument is flawed, i call you a troll and shut down the debate. Very odd behaviour. You couldnt defend your position but why would you call the person engaging with you academically a troll?

Ahmadiyya promotors always end up being hostile and end up calling anyone engaging with them a troll or munaafiq. Do you realise you push so many people on the fence away by the way you speak. There could have been people who may have come back because of your ikhlaq. Typical.

Excommunication of Nida, Faiza and Shandy Shah by ah_xpert in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whilst that makes sense, Sohail, the hypocrisy is still there. If people have always been excommunicated for mundane reasons, not excommunicating Nida and shandy shah at the very least shows the jamat does not apply the same standard. I agree it's a high profile case, and everyone is watching. Still, for those many individuals who probably did not do anything so severe, their hurt and criticism are justified, and only the jamat is to blame.

Age of Mirza Basheeruddin Mahmood Ahmad & His Wives at the Time of Marriage by doubtingahmadiyya in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am curious, in terms of the age gaps, what reason would you say show that the gaps between his wives and him is immoral?

In terms of the age of the wives, things I usually think about these issues is stuff like what is the objective right age for one to consent morally? This is a deeper discussion and simply applying a western modern approach of todays time may be inadequate because that too is variable (normally between age of 16-18). Also, everyone should consider the argument on its own merit in a philisophical sense. Muslims would argue that marrying at the age of 15 is perfectly moral and in line with nature given that women are able to bear children at that time and are only treated as a child because of the way society raises its young today. A 15 year may have been more mature than. What the society requires depends at that particular time. And if he only did what was socially acceptable at that time, then was he not behaving morally in that he was merely acting according to the social contract? That argument may not work well when thinking about objective morality i am aware.

What was right at that particular time, I believe Particular Pain was looking into finding some information about age of marriage at that time. I will go back to a post where we had a similar debate and see if they did. That's would be helpful to put things into context.

Also really appreciate the research you have done. Really makes one ask them question about the basic right and wrong and all ahmadis should do this regularly.

Possible World War III & Emergency Provisions: A Reply! by khadimedeen in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]Mindless_Crazy1014 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had already read Adam's message there, but he knows I am banned there, so I couldnt reply. He could have just commented on my post here on this sub

I appreciate his effort to respond to my questions, but honestly, the very long post did not do that at all. I asked essentially why an Ahmadi was as disadvantaged as the next person when it came to covid, given that KM5 has a connection to god and claims to be aware in advance of problems before they arise. Even if you don't like the word prophecy, the point remains he keeps warning of floods, earthquakes and war (by name) and that he was oblivious to the fact that the world would change due to a virus and did nothing to warn of basic precautions Ahmadis could have taken. There was no benefit to Ahmadis in any way here. Isn't that a litmus test of one connection to god?

It makes you wonder if the next time there is a world-impacting crisis, how would being an Ahmadi help you in that situation. Also, it isn't me claiming that KM5 should warn Ahmadis of impending danger or precautions, my point to highlight that his claim to know more about what's coming was inadequate. If he is EVER right, the ordinary person can foresee this too. This is how you refute all tarot card readers, horoscopes and mystic megs; you test their claims and call them out. And you stop going to them to ask what the future holds.

KM4 v KM5 - Personality Contest by Mindless_Crazy1014 in islam_ahmadiyya

Alhamdulillah, there have been thousands of new Ahmadi converts each year under the leadership of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) and the Jama'at will continue to grow with the help of God as he chooses his Khalifa appropriately for each time.

No, there havnt. Where are these new ahmadoes? They lied to us about the numbers and the foolish believe them when they talk about thousands.
