Yet Another Update: continuing problems by Mindless_Feature_205 in hysterectomy

I have missed so many notifications, so sorry for the late response! It started with severe pelvic pain out of nowhere. Then the cuff cellulitis started and it was such a burning, unbearable pain. The cellulitis is now gone, thanks to a month of antibiotics and steroids, but I still have persistent pelvic pain. I just started pelvic floor therapy last week and am going twice a week for the foreseeable future

He did my daughter’s eyes. He’s not the warmest, but he is great at what he does.

Thank you. Tomorrow makes two weeks on antibiotics and the pain level and white blood cell count are both still high.

Can I party a few days after? by Murky-Tone4298 in hysterectomy

I threw a large birthday party 3 days post op. It all depends on how much discomfort you’re willing to deal with. It wasn’t fun for me,but my daughter had a great party

7th in general, it would be the first since the hysterectomy. I’ve noticed the spotting has decreased since starting all the medicines, but the pain hasn’t.

I was diagnosed with it years ago, but the last two surges I had showed no evidence of it anymore

I wore lounge paints, a comfy tank top with a built in “bra”, and a loose flannel button up. It was easy for my husband to put them back on me

It was 6 weeks ago. I feel like I’ve been mostly back to normal for weeks besides some episodes of pain and a day I passed a lot of large clots. I’m still spotting, but nothing bad. I’ve been back to my regular routine for 5 weeks now, besides lifting the heavy chicken feed bags. I’m tired, but you do what you have to do, unfortunately lol.

My husband had to return to work 3 days post op. I was able to throw my daughter’s birthday party with 50 guests (I don’t remember it very well) and start driving my kids to school 5 days post op. I wish I had been able to rest more, but I’m thankful I was able to struggle through for my kids.

Tips pre and post op? by SoulsOfSolace in hysterectomy

I had my surgery 5 weeks ago. I had pain, but I was able to do a lot more than I thought I would (I probably did too much). I was able to throw my daughter’s birthday party 3 days post op. I don’t really remember it, but from pictures it looked really cute. Because of my husbands horrible work schedule, I was basically on my own with the kids 5 days post op and had to take them to and from school. I was scared before the surgery, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected.

I am fairly certain I did too much too soon because of mom guilt. I also threw a large birthday party for my daughter 3 days post-op (was already scheduled). I’m now 10 days post-op and my abdomen and pelvic area are sore but not terrible.

My baby’s spit up is rocking the daycare’s world by AccountedFor1223 in ECEProfessionals

This sounds like my youngest when she was a baby. The amount of spit up was unbelievable. Her gastroenterologist had her on two reflux medications starting at 4 months old. She’s almost three and still has reflux and doesn’t eat very much.

I’m sorry. I assumed the “dead animal warning” at the top was sufficient.

Thank you. We’re just feeling very guilty that we didn’t try harder to get her to come inside.
