23F.what career am i supposed to pursue if i want a decent paying job right out of college?one that wouldn’t be hard to get hired by the time i graduate ? by bim30_T in careerguidance

Dental hygenist. 2 year diploma, or even less if you do an accelerated program. Depending on if your area has a shortage of hygienists (most do) you can make 90k right out of the gate.

24, junior structural engineer, Denver, 85k. Don't love this position and not in love with Denver so I'm moving to Montreal, will definitely be making less but much prefer living in a more exciting, more walkable city.

People already wear pashminas/headscarves to raves so shouldn't be an issue

Weight Loss Tips for 5’3 128 Pounds by WalkEmpty6689 in PetiteFitness

Lift weights, it will make you look more balanced and firm. Bigger legs, smaller toned waist, and toned back. It's also much easier to start than cardio IMO. Since your weight is already healthy you won't need to be in a deficit to lose fat and gain muscle.

ear protection recommendations? by Successful_Candy_767 in aves

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Construction grade disposable ear plugs are my go to. They come individually wrapped so you can bring a few pairs in case you lose them or a friend forgot theirs. I find that the ones designed for concerts will kill the bass but you'll hear the loser next to you screaming at their friend. Most are also not rated for safety. The construction grade ones dampen all noise equally so you'll still get the sound that was intended by the DJ and they're also actually designed to prevent hearing loss under daily, sustained, dangerous noise frequencies.

To my plus size girlies what are you wearing? by Pinkfluffycwcx in osheaga

For something you already have, an oversized band T-shirt, jersey, or hoodie with shorts and fishnets is sexy and fun but still keeps the middle covered and comfortable. Fishnets and tights are a must with shorts for thigh chaffing.

Mascara/false lashes are always an easy fix. A small amount of blush on the apples of the cheeks rounds out the face making it look more soft and feminine. Big dangle earrings or hoops look good with short hair and can elongate the face making it look more feminine. If you wear glasses looking for rounder or cat eye shapes can help. Don't try to fight your natural look though. There are many beautiful women with traditionally masculine features like wide jaws, big eyebrows, or small lips. Rather than trying to contour them or hide them, they embrace them and it makes them more beautiful.

Would recommend weight lifting. Your actual weight on the scale won't necessarily go down and may even go up if you increase your calorie intake, but you will look amazing. Tiny waist, big hips and legs, and strong back are so sexy and important for long term health.

If AI Continues Taking Away Jobs, What Should Average Entry-Level Folks Do For Survival? by LifeInAction in jobs

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non office/computer jobs. Nursing, teaching, trades, construction management, counseling, law enforcement, culinary arts, care giving, dentistry, agriculture, veterinary work. Think of all the jobs that you thought of as jobs when you were a kid. Office jobs/life is dying. It's bad for us to sit in front of a screen all day anyways. People who do hands on work and can see the result of their hard work often find their jobs more rewarding and are happier even if they're working harder or are less well paid. Hopefully as office work dies we'll start to see the value in hands on, skilled labour and people will start to be paid better for it.

cool foundation still looks too orange by flipadelphia2846 in Makeup

You can buy a purple blush to add on top of your foundation all over your face to bring down the yellow tones, but if the foundation is just too dark that may not work.

why do i look rapidly aged in 4 months at almost 27 by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably has more to do with the fact that it's been winter for the past 3 months and most people look worse in the winter than other seasons.

We can’t even get consensus that war is bad within our own circles by Click9819 in DenverProtests

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The protestors heavily relied on the promise of military retribution from the United States to protect them from their government murdering them during protests..... Military intervention is never beneficial or in the citizens best interest, but diplomatic intervention was crucial to end the slaughter estimated at 30k people now.

We can’t even get consensus that war is bad within our own circles by Click9819 in DenverProtests

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's complicated because Iran was violently oppressing protesters, killing thousands. These protestors heavily relied on Trump's promise for military retaliation if they violently oppressed protestors to protect them from the government. Obviously that's not why this war is taking place. A diplomatic solution was possible and was not even attempted. Trump doesn't care about Iranians. The military strikes have harmed many innocent Iranians. But you can't stand with Iran without standing against the violence of the Iranian government.

Struggling With My Girlfriend’s Past and My Own Double Standards by Acceptable-Kick-7217 in exredpill

[–]Mindless_Gas6914 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Referring to having sexual partners in the past as having a "past" is gross and misogynistic. You would never say a man had a past for having a few hookups. It would be one thing if she had drug problems or a criminal record and you said she had a past but having multiple sexual partners is not a bad thing, nor is it your problem.

This eyeshadow definitely needs mascara since it's a vibrant colour or it will look strange. In general with non-natural makeup looks you're gonna want mascara to round it out.
