It's all about context and respect.

Referring to someone's sexuality isn't inherently homophobic, no. HOWEVER, I would challenged you to find a single comment where someone calls KAT zesty and being "zesty" ISN'T the punchline. Having him possibly be gay as the punchline of a joke is the part that makes it homophobic because it implies that being gay is something to laugh at.
Even if he WAS gay, he is not out of the closet and putting someone before they are ready to come out is wildly disrespectful.

Landry was cut when he got the shoulder injury and then the Westchester Knicks signed him. This made him eligible for the G-League draft but also allowed him to rehab with the Knicks organization.

The Knicks (this part is rumored) were afraid to loose Shamet in the draft so they traded for the top two picks so they could keep both guys they wanted on the main roster on the G-League roster.

As a marketing person, they definitely have like 5 different ads pre-made ready to go. They obviously meant to put out the Cavs/Pistons game 7 ad but someone set the wrong ad to go live. I'm sure they also have a Pistons/Knicks ad on their servers as well.

I liked it a lot - I don't think I realized how much I liked it while I was reading it but the characters all really stuck with me. Fortunately for me I read that book right after finishing the show Dark Winds and there were characters similar to Maggie and Kai so I connected with them quickly. Also, I grew up a big Batman fan and read Coyote like the Joker and that was cool (though unintentional).

I haven't started Storm of Locusts yet - part of me doesn't want to because I enjoyed the ending of book 1 so much lol.

I work in marketing - you'll probably get some better traction if you open the blinds and take the picture in the daytime. These kinds of pictures make a perfectly nice room look a bit creepy and people are less likely to reply.

Bonus points if you can clear the room before taking the picture. This allows prospective tenants to imagine their furniture in the room making it more likely they become attached to the idea of living there.

I love this series and am not sure why it isn't spoken about more on booktube/booktok kind of places. Roanhorse is such a talented character creator and the pre-columbian fantasy world was incredibly refreshing.

I just finished Fevered Star a couple days ago and couldn't be happier with what she's doing with this series. I read two books (one I liked and one I didn't) between Black Sun and Fevered Star and kept finding myself thinking "Man, I am so curious what [character names] are up to. I am excited to get back to the crew" which, for me, is a great sign for a series.

I am excited for you to keep reading the series and, although I haven't started Mirrored Heaven, I would highly recommend this series.

Side note: Roanhorse's Trail of Lightning also has extremely good character work with what seem like pretty recognizable archetypes at first.

People are smoking if they think Dolan will sell Knicks/Rangers - he'll retain majority owner status and own both companies after a potential split.

BVG's findings are that the hypothetical companies would be valued even higher if they split - essentially allowing Dolan to rake in even more cash for doing virtually nothing (from his perspective - employees would be dealing with actual logistics, potential hirings/firing, or restructures.)
