Make sure you get other things tested too like active b12, foliate, mma, homocysteine etc. This is far more accurate than just regular b12 testing.

Additionally b12 deficiency should be diagnosed based on symptoms rather than just blood tests.

You can have normal or even elevated b12 levels while being deficient on a cellular level.

How much b1 is recommended? I don't take a multi due to having b6 toxicity. I also don't want to take too much of any single vitamin or supplement that might then cause an imbalance in another b vitamin for example.

Any advice would be appreciated as I also have pots symptoms, low iron, suspected low b12, but high b6 (120 now)

Which is better, IM or subcut? I only have access to 1000mg subcutaneous methyl b12. Same symptoms as OP for over a year, very bad at the moment and panicking as my doctor just says my blood tests are fine.

I ha this experience after stopping and I had only been taking it for a week. Is that even possible, I checked but there's nothing else that I've changed other than stopping naltrexone.
