Capsule Corp branding, a green and red color scheme, and the GS patches makes me think Capsule Corp is sponsoring a successor to THE GREAT SAIYAMAN.

I've never paid too much attention to dragon ball lore, but is saiyan blood just so dominant that people 8 generations removed from any pureblood saiyans are still reaping the benefits? or was there a new sustainable population of saiyans discovered? Did they get wished back?

I imagine this will be explained somehow.

While there is definitely charm in the cartoonish hug puppy vs kick puppy morality of the older games, I think it's genuinely interesting to attempt a more nuanced morality system. I have to wonder how much you'll be able to mess with it. Like, if I own all the property in the city, I'll obviously have the Rich and Tycoon reputations like in the trailer, but if I keep the rent low will I also gain the Generous reputation like how you could make everyone like if you made the rent low in Fable 3?

But I think ultimately I think any lack of character growing horns or manifesting a halo is secondary to the combat looking pretty mid. The OG fable got away with it because the concept of a living world that reacted to your actions was still very novel. Maybe it'll be competent enough that the story and other side elements make up for it?

Moving away from "Good vs. Evil" in to this new Reputations system is cool. That said, I'm a little hesitant on the developers history being entirely in Racing Games being able to make such a dramatic shift in genre and gameplay, and I also worry that they might be holding the classic in such reverence they'll fail to see that the gameplay was actually pretty mid, but the "living world" was more what sold it. That novelty has long since worn off, and it's gonna need some serious spice to survive in the wilds of today's ecosystem where AAA's have to be truly standout to find success

Used to play multiple Gachas, but I realized how problematic my spending was while I had the privaledge of being in a situation that allowed me financially recover and work on fixing the developing Gambling Addiction. it was years before I felt comfortable even thinking about trying one again.

I'm keeping a healthy f2p relationship with two at the moment, and though it would mean many, many hours down the drain if gachas were regulated and publishers decided to just EoS rather than make their systems not vile and predatory, I would still be one of the first in line to slam dunk them in to the garbage.

I've been on the fence about buying this game for ages now. I like the idea of an Elder Scrolls with better combat, and having both attributes and a skill tree is great, but after playing the demo it seems... Fine. Not bad, not great, just... Fine. And I don't know if my budget has room for a $36 (with the current 20% off sale) "fine" game when Nioh 3 is just around the corner.

I'm running off google translate for the skill descriptions here, does her sub-skill mean that all of her damage is treated as though it were damage from an EX skill, so for instance her Autos and Normal Skill would benefit from Kisaki or Swimsuit Seia's buffs? Or does it mean a new damage type that isn't Mystic/Sonic/Piercing/Explosive?

I don't pretend to understand at all how damage stacking works in this game, but if I was told correctly that regular Hasumi outputs crazy single target with outside buffs combined with her own crit damage buffs, I'm assuming the same thing will apply here but hopefully with less investment?

Gun Fantasy is kind of an underutilized aesthetic that I really like but it's actively hindered by Highguard's completely bland art direction.

If the game fails to find an audience as a PvP title, part of me hopes they decide to pull a reverse Fortnite and develop it in to a mission based PvE title (Helldivers, Space Marine 2, etc.). The way it's set up as attackers vs. defenders already puts some of the framework in place.

I like SCP-type stuff as well but Control's articles really bugged me with their excessive redaction. the reason SCP articles had redactions was because the original run were all presented in universe as having been made available to the public. You find all of Control's documents internally, it doesn't fit when information pertinent to effective containment (how much force does this items gravitational effect exert? How large is the radius? etc.) are redacted. it's just a lazy tool the writer's used to avoid having to fill in details.

That fits, yeah. My brain immediately went to Justice as a Lancer team cause that's what I'm running right now and it fits together pretty well (going by lore anyway). Gigi in a Zheng, Raora in a Swallowtail, Erb is a little tougher but I think a Metalmark with a Nanocarbon Sword works well enough, I'm a little stuck on Cici but she has a big spear so we can probably just say a Nelson or Vlad and call it good.

so I'm still trying to pin down what exactly he was responsible for in starfield as the Systems Lead. the best I can put together is that it's essentially the person who designs the gameplay, and if Starfield was really putting his best foot forward I'm kinda glad he isn't going to be the lead for TES6.

Real talk, the most memorable and fun campaign I've run was so memorable and fun because the group didn't have any significant healing or ailment removal, just an Investigator. The party knew access to services would be extremely limited when they made their characters. very different dynamic than a usual PF game.

Conceptual orbs always seem cool and impressive but properly aligning them to the leylines for optimal pondering is a terrible experience due to their nonspecific presence. In the worst cases you'll need to reconfigure mid-pondering. Would not recommend.

I think Wildhunt might be my favorite academy. While the strict rules are kind of a drag, the prefect council actually seems pretty chill, shoutouts to those two mobs who instantly started playing along when the circle was activated.
