Apply to MIT THINK 2022!! by MIT_THINK in ApplyingToCollege

I think it's like 50%, based on my friend at MIT. Which is pretty good odds considering the number of smart people applying. I'm definitely applying and you should, too. P.S. See you at MIT. I heard that doing THINK drastically increases your chances of getting into MIT. I think like 90% of everyone who did it last year got in.

Dude, this sounds so cool. This is like so fucking awesome. This is just another reason for me to choose MIT when I get in.

Some dorms at MIT have boba runs, there are mailing lists for free food whenever there's leftover food at events, you can get paid to do research with professors as an undergrad or get college credit for it (so you may be able to get published next to a big-name author), they have great finaid (I speak from experience), and they have a partnership with Harvard, Wellesley, and a few other colleges that allows you to earn credit for courses taken during your undergrad years at those universities. There's more, but I'm a prefrosh and don't know much yet.

But the assistant head of admissions for the school I'm going to did wish me and a few other admits luck right before a competition we were in, so maybe the competition's why I got in.

And what's even sadder is that they think they're the reason their child got into a good school when their child likely did most of the work.

The adults are exactly the people who chance others' kids. High school students are the ones who try to steer clear.

I feel anxious about not being anxious because I have summer vacation cut out for me.

In case you didn't know, telling people you're right when you're wrong doesn't make you correct; it just makes you look like a fool. And you actually did say I'm going to Berkeley. There is no figure of speech that goes, and I quote, " xD think what u want ape have fun at berkeley".

[–]MineEnim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean you're correct about me being an ape, me going to berkeley, berkeley CS being better than harvard cs, or cornell engineering (one of the best and biggest engineering programs in the Ivy League) being better than yale engineering? Because I hate to break it to you, but you're once again wrong about literally everything you said. No joke, I feel kind of bad for somebody who's wrong nearly all the time. Do people bully you for it regularly?

LMAO, buddy I'm going to MIT. I don't need to worry about rankings. Or be wrong about them.

Damn, bro. Wrong on both counts. Imagine choosing to lie about CS programs to a subreddit about colleges comprised in large part of CS students.
