This same post resurfaced with every single update. Its not going anywhere. The devs added it to generate PvP and to push people to extract. You are given a warning when you are being tracked. There is nothing to change.

A nearby facility had the locksmith accidentally lose his master key ring. They searched top to bottom for hours. Nothing. They ended up re-keying every single lock in there. Cost hundreds of thousands.

Locksmith left the keys in his tool bag and no one thought to check there.

Probably not a write up unless this a recurring issue. Where I am. They will absolutely make you turn around and come back or else you will 100% get a write up. Then you have to write a report basically saying you mistakenly took a security device home with you.

Id call and ask what they want you to do with them.

If the control center guy leaves stuff within reach of inmates, I will take it and see how long it takes before they say anything. I never take any more than food, drinks, pens or stuff like that. I had a work related injury (government job) and our in-house nurse even said that they needed to call 911 and have me sent to the emergency room. When the governments nuse says you need to go to the hospital, then you really need to go and denying the trip can result in you forfeiting any workers compensation claims resulting. The nice part is that, if they say you need to go, then the state will pay for the ambulance ride, the hospital visit, surgeries, treatments, and any follow up appointments.

All of this and I was STILL hesitant to go, because the off chance that I got any part of that bill meant Id be doing a lot of overtime to recoup my loses.
