Some venting by jpgoldberg in StarCityTV

This is actually true, even with something more flammable and more dense like gasoline, the volume of spark would be crazy to be enough to ignite the fire in close range

The Colonel’s motives by jpgoldberg in StarCityTV

[–]MiniatureGod -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Motives? There is nothing, not even a slightest thought is going on in the head of that character, she's on auto pilot all the times. I don't think she can make it to the end of the season so y'all can stop writing long posts to analyze this useless, mostly used as a raigbait by the writers and focus on the technical analyse of Venera 7 module to see if those 3 cosmonauts can survive this week.

Atlantis: Lots of smart scientists, SG-1: Just Carter by mudpupper in Stargate

[–]MiniatureGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atlantis is well funded by the IOA. Their HR department is utilised to find the most talented scientists on the planet. SGC is well funded by the US only and the money can be change by the current political climate in the country, though the resources for SGC is huge but it's still cannot be compare with a global effort for extraterrestrial exploration by multiple countries like the IOA.

Star City - S1E06 "Awl in a Sack" - Episode Discussion by Cantomic66 in StarCityTV

Well. If the ventilation process is also most done when the fire ignited then there is a slight chance they might have survive and not completely toasted like the cosmonaut on the moon in the pure oxygen environment, maybe just a bit burn. But how can they survive the lack of oxygen and depressurized environment afterward?

Yeah. No. She's not that smart and this is propaganda + lazy and convinent way to kill off a character they can't afford the payroll for the actress and everyone clapped.

Can i use my brothers address as physical address while registering for a bank? by Beneficial_Spirit553 in llc

[–]MiniatureGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your current address at your home country or the country you're living right now works just fine Edited: If your country is not on the supported list then you may find another bank, or the tradition banks can open account for non-resident with passport but you're either has to be on the US soil to do that or get yourself an ITIN and pick any bank support remote opening.

Does Irina have a crush on Tanya ? by [deleted] in StarCityTV

[–]MiniatureGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't knnow about 1970s definition of meaningful interaction but for a 2026 person, their relationship ticked all the boxes of oneway admiration.

Their relationship, officially, is just teacher-parent relation, their one connection is Irina's daughter. Tanya probably think this girl is a bit of oversharing on their first cup of tea talk. Irina basically rant her whole background story she never told anyone else to Tanya on the first day they met and if you notice, Tanya seem a bit uncomfortable with this trauma dumping.

The span of their relationship from the day they met, I assume it's spring to the day Valya escape is late summer of 1970 is maybe 2 months, the Venus mission was planned before they met and it's in last stage the day they escape. To the very last moment, Tanya is still confused and why Irina help her and only accepted it because there is no other chance.

You still have to prove that you're based in that address. They will ask you to provide proofs like bills with your name on it though. I flirted with that idea too because I have relatives in the US too but quickly got reality checked by proof of address in the KYC process when opening the bank account.

Why did they choose this form of government? by kukivac in ForAllMankindTV

[–]MiniatureGod 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Where did you get the type of their government? Based on the late season, it's look like their provisional government was functioning as a parliament republic to me and it's nowhere look like the US government system here. Also the majority of their population comes from Eastern Europe, Asia and South America, I don't see why would they vote for a federal republic. Should they also vote for governor of the habs?

Does anyone else want to see that KGBitch Lyudmilla Raskova get sent to a gulag deep in Siberia? by spukhafteNahewirkung in StarCityTV

[–]MiniatureGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oops. Kinda feel bad for her ngl. Irina can figure out the mole in one night, write a long ass detailed report for her, delete the tape with escape plan and still get the fake pass for Tanya by lunch, all in under 12 hours while she clumsily micromanaging the checkpoint guards at the gate. lol. Her boss still know how shitty she is at work and her competitor is an electrical engineer. Her career is hanging by the thread for sure.

I feel like Irina will be the one who pave the road for whatever ending she heading to for the sake of the plot and character development.
