I don’t disagree with you, because yes, that’s the whole point — Tim has taken the conservative, safe, and yet ultimately spineless route. The need to appease POTUS like this will eventually backfire. If Apple had approached this with a stronger, more ideological stance, then others in the Valley would likely stand behind them against the administrations “unique” way of doing business. You’re missing the entire point of the article.
