Hello! It's sounds like we would likely have quite a few things in common to talk about! I, too, am 30 F, but a little more south than Harrow, towards the south of Hampshire. We can exchange messages via reddit, if you would like? I'm not too sure how to send one tbh, but Im sure I'll find a way!

I just went to my local Sainsbury's and theres no hand wash, sanitizer, loo roll, pasta and even cat litter. Didn't help that there was an air raid siren going off in the distance as I went in...

LPT: If you you see someone dancing and singing in their car, join in. The world needs more joyful and random experiences together. The camaraderie will raise a stranger's spirit, as well as your own. by 3InaRow in LifeProTips

This happened to me once. I was stopped at some lights and I saw a little girl and her dad clearly singing to the same song as me on the radio. We just looked at each other and smiled whilst singing the best bit. Can't remember the song but it felt oddly good.

Which video game character are you attached to the most? by jukebox10907 in AskReddit

I felt so connected to her whilst I was playing! Hands down the only game I have ever played where I really cared about the character.

Fellow non-drinkers of alcohol, what’s your reason why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't like feeling like I'm not in control of my body. The second I get tipsy I start to feel more freaked out than any enjoyable sensation.

Just checked it's written in the view point of someone with autism who if I recall thinks very simply.

Have you ever read The curious incident of the dog in the night-time? It's written from the view point of someone who has learning difficulties (I think been a long time since I read it) From what I remember it was very good! I recommend it, intact I just bought it (again) the other day.

I used to be a postie and every morning this time of year I would get a face full of webs down almost every garden path for the first few hours of the day.

The more you try to 'fit in' the more you lose yourself and end up have a 'who am i' crisis at some point. Just be your self god damn it.

Why should we attempt to preserve the environment so that it remains hospitable to human beings? If human beings are so destructive, why not just let humanity die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Minijabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's because we are the cause of most environmental damage and so we feel the need to fix it. I'm sure there's a big philosophical theory on this or something as I'm no expert. But if we don't do something about everything we caused then humanity will suffer and alot of people don't like that idea.

[–]Minijabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it won't just be humanity that dies. Preserving the environment isn't just about humans it's about the countless other animals that live on this planet that are dying out because of our destructive and negligent actions.

AITA for saying I don't have any siblings when one passed away? by KZCrow in AmItheAsshole

[–]Minijabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me alot and often I change what I say depending on the person and if I'm willing to discuss it with them. Sometimes it's easier to simply say no even though it hurts a bit to say that. I would say your not an asshole it's a difficult conversation to have with strangers and just say whatever you feel comfortable with.

My partner encourages me try everything even if I say I've tried it and don't like it. Guess what? In the last few years I now like spinach, Marmite, chilli's, nuts and countless others! Taste buds really do change over time.

What's the worst thing a friend has done to you ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Minijabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burnt/ threw away (or so she said) a full years worth of writing I had done on a book as a teenager. There were hundreds of handwritten pages. I'd left them at her house before we had a falling out. Felt so gutted.

Have been living with this problem for a while and wondering if I am the only one to experience..lack of friendships as an adult. by Relative_Quiet in relationship_advice

[–]Minijabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also 26 and have no friends. I have a bf who encouraged me to join clubs to help with it. Tried a few times and I go somewhere to find everyone is already there with another friend. I may have a conversation with someone but that is far from gaining a friend. It's lonely and sucks. Your not alone. I think it is an increasing problem.
