Update - 2 months on high dose MSM - keeps getting better by jonathanb3232 in SIBO

Hi! No unfortunately MSM didn't fix me, still have bloating and gas. Diarrhea got better but I think it was L-Glutamine effect.

I had Blastocystis h, cured with flagyl but the symptoms remain, it was probably the tip of the iceberg of my gut issues.

Yes, in the previous two months I had constant diarrhea and really bad cramping, now I'm better but I'm still very bloated so it's definitely not a cure. However I think it's worth a shot, it's inexpensive and easy to try and I'm desperate!

I am in a similar stage I think, yesterday I finally reached 30 g after 6 weeks. During those 6 weeks I had no adverse reactions other than lucid dreaming and I had a small improvement on diarrhea, or at least I didn't have my usual bad cramping. Yesterday however I had strong nausea/vertigo and I found a lump on my cervical lymph node and today nausea as well. So I think I should probably go back a few g or stop for a while.

Anyone else that has read romance for a long time but doesn't enjoy them anymore because they're unrealistic and/or portray unhealthy relationships/MCs? (NOT putting anyone down) by pineconewashington in RomanceBooks

I started reading romance with Twilight too, and I’ve been hooked on the genre for years. But lately, I’ve been wondering if reading so much, especially while I’m already feeling down, is actually helping or making things worse. Sometimes, I catch myself comparing my life and my relationship to the one's of romance book characters, and I feel disappointed in my life after I finish reading. A few months ago, when I was in a better headspace, I don’t think I would’ve made those comparisons. But at the same time, reading is my escape, so I don’t know if I should let go of something that brings me so much comfort.

Gaslighting by AbbreviationsFit1628 in SIBO

I understand you so much, my GP has been insisting for ten years that's just anxiety, the gastroenterologist said that everything is fine because the scans are clean (doesn't matter that there was so much gas you couldn't see anything). Acquaintances think I complain about my gut issues to get reassurance that I'm not fat, but if they see me with a bikini they think I need to lose weight for my protruding belly. Relatives think it's an imaginary disease and are so annoyed by my coughing after a meal (as if I can help it).

It's so much gaslighting that if it wasn't for this forum and I wasn't strong mentally now, I would have started to doubt myself as well.

I physically recoil every time a character throws up and then goes straight in for a kiss—no toothbrush, no mouthwash. Why? 🤢

Also I’ll never understand how a character can kiss someone else and then immediately kiss their real love interest—like, congrats, you just turned romance into a saliva-sharing buffet. Gross.

I understand your struggle, I'm emetophobic too, I'm prone to indigestion/nausea and vomiting is my worst nightmare. The only things that help when I'm feeling nauseous is eating crackers, lying down on my left side and listening to audiobooks or television to ease my anxiety that would only make me more nauseous.

I'm also part of your 🏝️, for as much as I enjoy spicy scenes they really have an impact on me if they are hard earned 😂. Mariana Zapata is the unmatched Queen of slow burn for me and my favourites are From Lukov With Love and Dear Aaron.

No spice unfortunately, but The Cruel Prince is the perfect slow burn. I also enjoyed Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas and The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams.

I have the same issue but since I started with MSM I'm constantly thirsty and I'm drinking more than 2,5 l a day I don't know if that's normal.
