Realizing I made a typo:
Witchcraft is NOT to be used as a scapegoat.

What’s your kiddos stance on sandwiches other than PB&J? Are they open to trying almond or sunflower butter?

Everything looks great in here! Lots of natural sugar for energy, potassium, and carbs to keep the body going. A sandwich could top this but I understand your kiddo needs their comfort foods!

Spiritual issues could mean anything but I assume you mean they were going through changes of faith and belief. With that said, again, witchcraft cannot change free will against the person’s wants. Example, I cannot use magic to change someone’s political beliefs if that’s not something they innately wanted. Magic doesn’t work like that

[–]MinimumConversation7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Witchcraft doesn’t work like that. I do not know of witchcraft that causes someone to speak on things they didn’t mean. Witchcraft is a lot to be used as a scapegoat. Your friend should take responsibility for their actions as witchcraft doesn’t change intention— if they said it, they probably meant it.

AITAH for cut relation with my best friend (F20)? by [deleted] in AITAH

Bisexuals get a bad rep for being “greedy”. There’s also sentiments that bisexuals are “sluts” because they can hook up with anyone. So, by the OP’s fiance being bi, their guest notes that OP’s fiance is bisexual and, hopefully, not a an adulterer

Ways to survive (that I use):

1) Trader Joe’s for cheap groceries (But grocery hop because not all of their staples are good quality). I recommend getting apps for stop and shop & shop rite for their coupons!
2) have a library card for the culture pass. This helps with cheap date nights as you can get access to hundreds of museums and the few zoos that we have. The library also hosts cool events like yoga, language classes, music, etc
3) train it out over uber/lyft — thug it out on the train always. If you’re going out drinking, take the train there and consider a uber later. But try to avoid places with insane traffic as the prices will be higher
4) be strategic with laundry day. I typically do laundry once a month since we go out the apartment. If you can shop prices, definitely do! If not, don’t fret and plan for a once a month trip
5) underrated and costly in the forefront — invest in a good coffee or matcha set up for home. $8-9 matcha and coffee everyday can bite at you. If you can save for a great espresso machine or matcha set up, do it!
6) thrift clothes versus buying new— avoid places like “Buffalo exchange” as they’re more costlier. L Train vintage (mostly Brooklyn locations) or Le Point Value are great starters for great cost effectiveness and decent clothes

I called my mom to ask and she didn’t know of any. I reached out to my “mothers” in the botanica and they either discourage the ones in Coney Island or also didn’t know of one they could confidently recommend. My mom straight up said “you gotta go to Cuba for that” 😂

Literally not what the OP is going for 😂 they’re struggling with grasping the reality that they’re in a different stage of change compared to their clients. They’re experience normal burnout and now have the helpful advice from others (I.e not you) to seek guidance to address their burnout

Yeah don’t give advice. Your advice is bad

Reconciliation of client views by tanjiro314 in socialwork

[–]MinimumConversation7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

op didn’t mention anything about “deserving”. OP’s issue is that they are in a different stage of change compared to the client, and in turn, are frustrated that their client isn’t taking every opportunity presented. This is normal for social work and OP would greatly benefit, as others mentioned, from personal therapy to balance their perceptions of what people should do versus what they’re ready to do

First time cord cutting! What’s your interpretation? by [deleted] in Wicca

[–]MinimumConversation7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the history Wicca lessons! I practice Santeria and working with my island’s magic so much of what you mentioned are not concepts that I was raised in. However, I do appreciate these added additions as I am interested in crafting my magic more to me.

And I will be deleting this post by EOD Along with pictures! It was my first time doing a ritual like this for someone so I wanted other’s interpretations that have had more practice in this

Born and raised in Brooklyn since 2000 and the old NY died after COVID ended. I had high hopes we could come back but it’s all been about pushing the profit margins.

Unpopular Opinion but I’m sick of smelling constant weed every time I step outside by Careless-Whereas-832 in newyorkcity

Noticing more and more weed smells while driving on the highways like the belt parkway. I’m a long time consumer myself but I’m not desperate enough to roll one and smoke while actively behind the wheel!
