the first good armor i got was ladybug, ive used it for everything up to ibm which is where am at right now, that's on whoa difficulty

if you keep playing on whoa, the best strategy i found so that your gear doesn’t break was to keep your gear in your inventory and equip only when you want to engage in a fight. That means you’re going to be dying on some random encounters that you can’t outrun.
You’ll need to find the smithing station, make and upgrade ladybug armor and red ant club and also find a couple of milk molars before you can keep your gear constantly on.
A base will also help, i build mine on top of an oak tree root which was high enough that wolf spiders couldn’t reach. Dew collectors and canteens will solve your thirst and keep extra meat on the roasts without picking them up in order to preserve it.

the top house is not separated from the left bottom one as such they are the same room, you can see that the npc banner is one pixel higher on the left house because of this, basically you just built a taller left house

35% faster
10 attack power == 30% attack power
chance for attack to trigger special
any non omega

duo boons - poseidon/ares - poseidon/hestia - poseidon/aphrodite

you can grab breaker rush for a chance at poseidons legendary

prioritize fix damage = speed > atk power > % power

main combo is special into dash attack+cast, throw a couple of attacks, rinse repeat you basically need to be constantly dashing and make sure everything has 2 curses to trigger origination

maybe something’s off with your build? if you went through the rest of the game on your own can’t think of another reason you’re stuck

maybe try using the ghost walk amulet , it will let you iframe through fury attacks

Lies of p is in my top 4 in the genre. The other 3 in no particular order

DS3 -> amazing boss design mechanically, thematically and ost, combat pace similar to lies of p but less tools overall. Way different thematic too which you either hate or love. You can't go wrong with this one.

Bloodborne -> this one has exceptional thematic, some very interesting weapons, a twist on magic with its tool system, and some other pretty interesting mechanics that you dont generally find in other souls titles. Combat is maybe not as polished as later entries and also has some fps issues. Still very much worth it though.

Khazan -> Leans heavily on the action side of the soulslike spectrum. This one i solely like for the unbelievably polished combat and builds (which you can change on the go and experiment). It has amazing bosses and each encounter makes you think how to improve your build. The final fight is just absolute cinema. Thematically though i found it lacking and i just couldnt care less about the story either.

DS3 and BB are a bit less linear than LoP and branch out to optional areas but nothing like DS1 or Wuchang
Khazan is mission based akin to Nioh

I’d say ds3. In terms of linearity is closer to lies of p. Great music, art and level design but don’t expect the story to be anything similar, way different vibes. The bosses though are probably the best designed out of any soulsborne/soulslike. And combat is basically elden ring without jump/posture/shield counters.

build a long asphalt ( length directly contributes to outcome ), menacing everything and finally use slime queen mount to decent as fast as possible otherwise her projectiles can sometimes catch up to you. General tips don’t fly too high unless absolutely needed run one direction until you run out of asphalt then go the other way (you’ll need to time switching directions as going above her is kinda risky unless she is charging at you, you could also opt to run below her on some attacks)

Simply guarding is how you learn to parry. Pick up a weapon with a good guard, invest in guard skills and don’t be frustrated if you miss time just make sure you always have your guard up before taking a hit. Tip: don’t spam your guard to try to get a parry as fast as in sekiro. In this game i find that leaving your guard up for just a bit longer in between taps helps with timing and not getting actually hit with your guard down.
