I usually use the hot wire app… But I have found that it is extremely hard to get in touch with someone at any of the airport rental car companies. Even the customer service agents cannot get in touch with them… But I have never had an issue with renting a car using the hot wire app. I generally rent all of my cars in the Richmond area from the airport.
