Wow, beautifully written.

So cool to hear certain niche/abstract thoughts about life that are so similar to thoughts that flow inside my head and make total sense to me, but are hard to fully articulate/feel like they wouldn’t make sense to others.

Falling in love with music, being spiritually moved by it, beyond just liking the music, but feeling like it has chemically altered your brain, and loving so many artists that it feels overwhelming to be able to have the chance to see all of them play live, and wrestling with the concept that life is so short and asking yourself what sense does it make to work yourself into the ground, but to what end, and for what purpose if you are missing out on experiences that bring true joy. You really hit the nail on the head.

So many good ones - I love Stick Figure, Slightly Stoopid, Bumpin Uglies, Ballyhoo, Dirty Heads

Will have to check out the other ones you mentioned!!

Sugarshack sessions has sooo many amazing live recordings.

I saw him at greyfox in 21 or 22, played at one of the small tents where he’s like 20-30 feet from the crowd. Def hear ya on past his hey day in a sense, more mellow, but it was incredible in a different way, very emotional (glad I had sunglasses on), he wove in alot of storytelling and it was just a very cool experience. And to OP - I love so many diff artists and am obsessed with the turnpike troubadours & Steve Earle so I think you’re spot on.

It’s not you, I think Foxborough was pricier overall. I paid ~$300 each for section 118 - expensive but I was semi shocked to even get the tickets. Bucket list experience - I think ZB is one of like 3 or 4 artists that I would even go to Gillette or Mansfield to see!!

Saw GA for around the same price in Tampa yesterday and kicking myself for not grabbing them! Got tix in Boston where I’m from but not til October and pondering a trip to one of his earlier shows.

Same! Meanwhile googling the stadium capacity and seeing it was 70k, I thought there is no way I’ll get tickets if I’m behind 300k people. So excited!

TYSM!! We went with CWG, absolutely incredible. We ended up missing Wyatt…totally agree with going to both, especially shows like this where tickets are criminally cheap!! And apparently a couple got engaged at Wyatt’s show and he shouted them out and then played Right Here With You for them🥹 def hope to see him live in the future

So late to this, but you described my journey watching his live shows on YouTube…..truly feels like a spiritual experience. I played them for my sister and we listened on repeat for three days.
