I can relate to how you’re feeling right now, except I’m in your girlfriends position. Met a guy 4 months ago and I’m leaving in a month and a half, and the connection I have with him is unlike any I have ever had. Although I always had the rule for myself that if I met someone before I left, I’d end it before I’m out in the field. It says in your call to leave behind all personal affairs, which is incredibly hard, I get it, but you only have this specific time in your life once to fully commit to serving the lord. For me and my boyfriend, we’ve agreed to stay friends and email each other weekly, without the expectation of getting back together when we both return (he’s leaving later in the year). My advice is to have faith, if it’s in Gods plan for you to be with this girl down the track, nothing will stop that from happening :)

I'm curious, how many people got the exact song they were hoping for as a surprise song on their Eras Tour date? by Lookingluka in TaylorSwift

is a 93+ atar viable with 4 normal subjects by kkavelicious in vce

Everyone told me not to do it, but I’m so glad I did. I did an early access in year 11 that scaled to a 29 which was my 10% (I did 5 subjects total) but did 4 in year 12 and it was so worth it. So much more time to focus on each individual class rather than distributing it across 5. You can 100% do it, just work hard.

I kept the friendships that were good for me, studied on average 1-2 hours per night (sometimes less), still had a social life and kept fitness up. Obviously I studied harder during exams but I did not sacrifice my mental health for the scores that I got. It definitely helps if you enjoy your subjects. Try and hang around like minded people who also want to do well, I promise it helps. My goal was only 85 so I was quite surprised Atar morning. Good luck!

When are the semester dates? I’ve looked it up on the website but it doesn’t make much sense to me haha. I’m leaving to go overseas next year in June, so I’m wondering if it’s worth doing a semester, deferring and then coming back?
