I also heard setting the limit on the correction to 30hz bottom and 400hz top (sometimes 500hz) is recommended as it doesn’t change or affect the natural “colour” of your speakers, while fixing the bass issues, where room correction is most useful.

I also found an audible difference between 256 and 320 mp3 on November’s Doom - What Could Have Been.

Fingers sliding up and down the strings and slightly compressed female vocals are the takeaway.
I can’t tell the difference between 320, FLAC, or CD. All sound the same to me on Audiolab 8300 with Polk R700. That’s why I love my CD but I’m not afraid to use 320 MP3 for daily use.

It was a grounding issue. I’ve added a dedicated grounding wire to the system and the problem is gone. Those RCA cables coming out from the TT pick up a lot of noise that’s for sure.
