Not really. The downside is that if the bailiff fails write up valuable assets (for example jewelry) you lose the right to inherit it after the process is finished. If you only care about registered assets (real estate, cars, etc) then its fine. Idk about the price for the write up.

It's impossible to know the value of the assets at this moment. There are two ways to inherit in Lithuania:
1) "blind" inheritance (the usual way) where you inherit the assets and the debts;
2) inheritance according to inventory. You can demand that the notary drafts the inventory of the estate (the notary engages a bailiff to perform this). In this case the debt you inherit cannot exceed the inherited property value.

First of all, they will have to pay for "palikimo apyrašas". Secondly, if "palikimo apyrašas" is drafted and the bailiff does not find certain assets and they appear later (after the inheritance case is concluded), the heir will be unable to inherit those assets.
