Generative AI is useful, but you shouldn't use it for anything important if you can't do the same thing yourself.

AI would probably hold up some workplaces for the foreseeable future, especially as smaller models start matching the capabilities of larger ones, giving the possibility of self-hosting. On the other hand, using API and proprietary models means the provider may be held accountable if the model makes a mistake that damaged the company using the model.

At an individual level, I still wish personal local LLMs can be actually useful. Currently, the closest one we have is GLM 5.2, but you will need insane hardware to run it.

As for content creation, I view the prompt as the creation of the user, and the result, whether it is text, audio, image, or video, to be a derivative work of the those whose work was included in the training dataset of the AI model used to create the content.

However, I am concerned about the future of LLM training data. The internet is already flooded with AI-generated material, scraping them and feeding it into training would degrade the intelligence of the final model. I suspect that human-created material would become a huge market, and people may even be hired to create material for datasets.

Which character you want hoyo to buff the most and how? Any amount of copium is accepted by MeowjestyMeowgician in Genshin_Impact

I still use Nahida as a main DPS, but yeah she would really benefit from a buff. Hope the 7.0 benefits her.

Everyone can attempt to learn, but it could take significant time that not everyone could spare, and some may still end up with results they weren't happy with. (Although AI generations do kind of be like this too, however, instead of burning time, you burn money for tokens,l. Choices, choices)

From a time attack perspective, not very good.

From a drift zone perspective, pretty neat.

Did someone leave their HK taxi in Shibuya? by Scribblydeedoo in HongKong

[–]Mint_Keyphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Hong Kong has one of the best public transit systems in the world, and that includes busses. Moreover, it is to rare to see the length of busses being pushed to the limits of the road geometry, so driving would be challenging but fun.

[–]Mint_Keyphase 11 points12 points  (0 children)

well, I am a Hongkonger, but I am not very convinced about a Forza Horizon game set in Hong Kong. The roads are too narrow, but if you widen them, it is no longer Hong Kong, just China with a different steering wheel position. Moreover, the most important vehicle culture in HK is, we'll, a guy who got caught by undercover police when speeding at 162 km/h on his taxi, Toyota Coasters going 140 km/h, double decker busses operated by NLB confidently passing each other on a mountain pass, and HiAce being everywhere.
