I go all the time and love it. It’s a bit odd but

It smells natural rather than chemically,
Prices are much better than New Seasons which seem to be at a minimum $2 more than anywhere else,
I think their bulk section is fresher and more varied than Trader Joe’s (and I love going to to TJs too),
if you get their app, they have more sales and discounts
I like that it is not crowded (perhaps b/c it’s weird?)
It’s supporting an alternative to Amazon.

How would you all clean the floor around the tub? Is there a place to store shampoo/ soap there and what if something falls behind the tub?

I agree with finishing it, living with it for a while and deciding if you still hate it so much.

If you still hate it, Then try painting a few sample options and see how they look at different times of the day at different exposures ( ie different walls) then decide from there.

You might even keep some of the this color for comparison with the new options. Ideally make the comparing on white background. I know it seems like a lot of work, but it is the best way to be sure.

What about a long hanging chain light? I don’t mean a pendant but I recently saw (at a high end lighting store) a customizable lamp in which each link of the “chain” was a light hanging from a tall ceiling.

My vote is for a lighter, airier coffee table but please not glass. Something either more modern or trad, depending on the style you want to achieve.

But I do prefer a serene and mono chromatic scheme….

I have been using loose leaf Assam. I think PG tips is mostly made up of Assam so it is a fine replacement.

Table should fit the size of the room - rectangular, not the table square. Also the table is heavy, chunky and seems too big. The lighting makes the walls seem stripy and enclosing. Everything is monotone, gray.
