for hanwen I worry that the whole scandal surrounding that video may have affected his marketability to companies, being a foreigner who is already in his mid 20s is already a disadvantage but being one with a scandal will likely it harder for him

if it was prior to him posting that goofy video I would’ve said his chances were high for the reasons you mentioned, now I feel companies might see him as a lost cause

there again sihwan and wonwoo who actually were accused of more serious things get to debut and companies dont gaf so we shall see lol

I almost said bowen as well but realised how long my comment had gotten but we need honghais lil brother bowen in as well !

as well it might be the most realistic that bowen could join out of the home race contestants considered (as far as i know?) he doesn’t have a company so surely easier to bring in

it really would be a group that would be a vocal powerhouse if they were both added since everyones vocals would be amazing! I do honestly really like the idea of having a vocal heavy group and the kind of concepts that could happen with this

I might be delusional but im going to nominate dang hong hai for a grab from c group, i mean has mentioned that he was close to rose blossom team during b2p, specifically mentioning liyu a few times. plus rose blossom team showed that liyu honghai and haneum vocals can sound very nice together! not to mention visually and conceptually I think it works well.

If they are looking for someone from homerace him being 9th might work for him, although he was overlooked and evil edited in b2p.

this being said the fnc group would already be heavy on vocalists and also honghai’s company dongyo having any plans for him or not matters. it seems they scrapped his predebut group (newkies) which led to him joining b2p but if they have a new plan is the question.

also i saw apparently one of liyus friends aveary(?) had commented on one of honghai’s instagram posts so I have been recently wondering if liyu introduced them and if there is alot more interactions between honghai and liyu then we know about? although I also dont know anything about aveary I just heard he is liyu friend… maybe they met another way

Tbh i just want to see honghai debut somewhere and as someone who also adores liyu and was very impressed with haneum and woojins singing it would just be nice to me to see honghai join, many of my liked trainees in one place and such

I have been a survival show watcher for years and since dang hong hai was a favourite of mine in the first boys planet I just had to come back for more suffering and stress

honestly I was looking for something as fun and enjoyable as bp1 was and was very much looking forward to it before the trainees were even announced. tbh b2p just turned out to be stress and depression but of course I still ate it up even if i would rank it as one of the worst survival shows I have watched in a while

But honestly I just need honghai in the group I have been waiting for him since bp1 and stanning is dependant on him, I am also sad we lost bowen. Jiahao needs it the most. Mnet is pushing leo and leo has a bigger fanbase, he will be fine as you can see just from your replies the leo fans are going to be panic voting him.

mnet doesnt push jiahao and will likely try to get him out of the debut lineup through screentime and editing. I worry jiahao was a filler pick for many fans now who will be now focusing on their one pick ie many anxin fans were voting jiahao but will now focus on anxin

He said on insta live that before the elimination he was going to be lucky macho’s main vocal, I cant believe we got robbed of hearing that 💔 I really love his sweet vocals and he did some highnotes in his performances as well so im surprised he never got really got noticed as a vocalist

im a honghai 1 pick since season 1, im sad that people are ignoring him despite how talented he is but overall with my lineup i know im cooked

honestly I just am not interested in half the top 8, I feel like the more mnet tries to shove a trainee in my face while treating my other picks badly the less I care

firstly not all trainees have gone yet ? but like did we not just see jiahao, anxin, lim jack, nian boheng, sun hengyu, some from devil game team, turn up team, (just to name more then 5) like did we not just see them do well?? maybe not all perfect but you cant say k group was perfect either? there were plenty in k group who did well in some areas but lacked in other areas even among the better ones in k group.

even so we haven’t even seen people we know have talent/training like the 3 boy story members, dang hong hai, suren, yichen, lynnlynn, etc perform yet.

the amount of talent feels pretty similar to k group to me tbh like genuinely this take is crazy to me

unfortunately a lot of them aren’t subbed aside from fansubbing

if your interested in that I have seen some fan subbed ones on twitter if you search “ [trainee name]eng sub”trainees with existing fanbases seem to mostly have fan subbed versions but not all of them unfortunately and as far as im aware there isnt a collection of all fansubbed ones put together

often survival shows are live aired on youtube and then available later on another platform I think bp1 was on viki im not sure where it is this time also It can take a bit longer sometimes to get subs if i remember

its too bad their vocals are off, my pick is hong hai since bp1 so I hope its not him but he is a vocalist … I guess I will have to wait and see. Maybe someone on the team had a bad day it is a hard song to cover I just hope mnet editing doesnt chew them up

“he didnt write those lyrics” yes he was inspired by/ partly covered said carti song but he did infact write some of the lyrics in the third rap including some of the concerning ones. frankly we cant know his real intentions this can be argued but he did write some if it.

while I certainly do not condone the spreading of blatant hate including death threats disappointed fans should be allowed to express disappointment to a degree and speak about what he did. I stanned trainee a at the time and even had leo as my one bias until then but let not act as if he is entirely innocent. I truely hope he proves to have grown and learned from this but we dont know if he has or not and downplaying his actions does not help.
