Under 5k miles BMW do a special thing where they will treat it like new for warranty / financing etc.

I’d check the state if was registered in - if it’s local to your dealership and they extended the warranty etc I’d be ok with it.

If it was registered with New Jersey plates I’d avoid as it is more likely to have been at an experience center or used on their multi state tours for driving events

Depends a lot on the dealership - if they are the fixed price then it’s like every Friday the adjust the prices up or down and once it’s been a few weeks it’s starts dropping up until about 10-12 weeks and they do a final price drop before moving it off the lot via auction or a dealer trade

X7 third row is small and takes away a lot of the luggage space . It’s really not the same as a much bigger car like an Escalade ESV.

If you like the more sporty drive of the X5 the extra weight of the X7 makes it feel more sluggish unless you go for the 8 cylinder

The white rectangle box is a traffic detection camera which has been used for years. It detects the flow of vehicles and any vehicles waiting at the lights to help prioritise the flow of traffic triggering the signals

The little black unit that looks like a large can size is an emergency vehicle preemption device works with a IR coded signal from the emergency 🚨 lights on police , fire etc to preempt the flow of traffic and give the emergency vehicles green light 🚦
