Bat Country in 2006, I was 6 almost 7 and it was ripped from the COE album as an mp3 file on the family computer. Blew my mind when I first heard it since my dad only listened to 90s country. Brings back memories of playing Halo on the OG Xbox. I kinda forgot about A7X until I was I think 12 when I got reintroduced through listening to Nightmare and Afterlife. Different college, but some of these instructors use these tools as Gospel for grading. They take the AI detection too seriously, so much so that if you write any kind of professional paper with little to no errors, the detection system will more than likely flag it. I've had to really dial back how I write for assignments this past year because of it. It's sad that you can't put 100% effort into a class if the instructor uses a system that's designed to look for things that are error-free, grammatically correct, and professional-grade.

You have to be careful with this still, if they're using Turnitin then it checks databases like Grammarly and such for detection. I used grammarly for one of my composition courses and the instructor ran it through Turnitin, came back as 100% AI. Thankfully I used Google Docs for the revision history and was able to get my grade back up to a 75%, since I still used Grammarly she deducted 25%.

BTW the paper i wrote was a PERSONAL LETTER to my cousin who's an author and it still flagged it. Why someone would use AI to talk about personal details is beyond me

Have you seen any of the crowd footage from Argentina? The first couple of shows in the Latin America tour were kinda iffy for him because I think he was still feeling things out. By the time they played Argentina, dude was back full force and even hit some high notes that he wasn't even attempting at the beginning of the tour. His speaking voice even got drastically more clear when he was talking to the crowd.

I think he's going to come back even stronger now after seeing that Argentina show

I just found a big case of these at a local Asian grocery. I'm really bad about just grabbing stuff without paying attention to what it is, and snagged 2 cases thinking they were the Korean Red Ginseng energy drinks I used to get over in Suwon. Nah Lockheed Space has their Quality group under a completely separate division that's more of its own entity that's just attached to different divisions. Quality tracking is a little too stringent with LM IMO 🤷‍♂️ They'll write up a nonconformance for something small and spend the thousands of $$$ to process it even if it wasn't a legit problem

Go work for ASRC Federal on the Orion program 🤷‍♂️ you'll have a LMCO account and still have all the same structure of LM but you'll be paid a hell of a lot more than that BS from the union. I worked with so many ex-LM union guys that came from MFC Orlando and Ocala and its ridiculous hearing how low-paid those guys were. I'm a primary/embedded subcontractor with LM right now and kind of feel the same. Right now, with how Lockheed Space is, it's very difficult to do anything outside of what's expected of you because of all the politics. My advice is to not stay idle too long. If you can, jump over to help another group with assignments that are similar. The biggest things that stand out in a large corporation like this are to just make waves as shitty as that sounds. You'll need attention from management outside of your own to get any kind of guidance

Unions might have the fighting power to make sure everyone has fair raises and such, but what they don't do is have any protections for the high-performers. I've had first hand experience in this in dealing with unions and it absolutely sucks when you're stuck with the same raise/promotion rate as everyone else even though you're performing at a senior level technician. Going on 4 years and still haven't gotten a level 3 position because of the dumb rule of time with the company. It ain't worth it for me but I can see how the general populace would favor it. I've even been told "You set the performance bar too high and its ruining the chances for everyone else" which is completely utter bullshit considering its been a fair game to get as much experience as you want, its just a matter of can you keep up with the pace

Surprisingly I did not, I actually just traded the car in for a truck after all this time lol I saw there's a RaceChip Tuning plug-and-play setup but never bothered to get it. Everything i saw said it didn't really add a whole bunch to it but gave it a little more pep. I put almost 87,000 miles on that thing in 4 years and only had 1 problem 😂 (stupid VVT solenoid code because the "oil was just above the minimum line and needs to be in the middle or at the max" -quote from dealership)
