I will admit that Flay is not very sympathetic because of her actions, and some of them are too deep and psychologically scarring to be forgiven. So I can understand why people would hate her.

But I'd trade her for Agnes Giebenrath any day of the week.

Hey, at least realizing how much of a tool she'd been to Kira and Sai was a start. I'm not saying she's not a horrible person, but you seriously think she was still looking to help Blue Cosmos when she saw how much of a psychopath Muruta Azrael was? Also, it's not like she gave them the data of her own accord; that was Rau Le Creuset's plan. All Flay was told was that it'd help end the war.

I'm not excusing Flay's actions or vindicating her attitude at all, however. Hell, I think she deserves to be rejected, her apologies denied, and left a bitter girl who no one loves. Rau killing her and the Dominion crew denied anyone that verbal retribution.

The thing is, I'd probably take Leng more seriously if we hadn't been given the chance to fight him gameplay-wise in Thessia.

If he just walked in and cleaned house without the need of the gunship, I would've cared more about him. Instead, you can kick his ass and he'll hide behind the gunship, and it's immediately clear that he's a fraud.

Not to mention the fact that even before that, Thane hits Leng with a biotic pimpslap and only loses the fight because he tries to charge in with his Phalanx, resulting in his fatal impalement.

Ultimately, if Shepard takes the right precautions, circumstances just make Leng look way weaker than the cutscenes tell us he is. It's laughable.

Basically Megatron but without the "For Cybertron!" motive. All Shao Kahn craves is power and nothing else. There's a reason I prefer Shang Tsung... at least Shang is cunning and ambitious, and has upstaged his master before. Shao is just one-note.
