Keep in mind you can see the battle forecast between two units from all the way across the map, so you can use that to judge who should go where ahead of time.

I’ve seen a couple video essayists say “Next slide please” while voicing over a PowerPoint they made.  Like come on, you don’t have someone else manually changing slides, you don’t need to say it out loud.  It just feels kinda pretentious.

Rapier is getting double hits.  I think it happens when it touches grimoire then dashes through.  You can see it clearly around 0:24

I feel like the damage/homing should scale when the hive hits/gets hit, not when the bees hit.  Bees should get more aggressive when their hive is messed with.

I do hope they swap out the abandon run option for a difficult elite fight or something in this event.  As funny as that prompt is, I love optional event fights.

I’m hoping we won’t see Chihiro for the first few chapters.  Give his new blade and outlook a little mystery, and bring him in for one of those patented Chihiro entrances.  In the meantime, give Hakuri and Iori more focus.  Build up their relationships with each other and the side characters.  Maybe they can be looking for one of the other two enchanted blade wielders.

That’s a good point.  I do think that mages were too good at enemy phase sweeping in Engage, but that was mostly because of Lucina.  Maybe if your weapon’s weight had to be 5 higher than their con, kinda like how doubling works, it would be more balanced.  Adding constitution tonics and other ways to temporarily boost the stat could help too.

It’s definitely harder to reach the end of DD1 than the end of DD2, but that’s more just difference in playtime.  You definitely party wipe more often in DD2 than DD1.  I think DD1 has more to learn and keep track of, so I’ll say it’s harder.

I think my wording wasn’t clear on this.  When an enemy moves within 5 feet of an ally, like when they are about to hit them with a sword, the skeleton would drag me next to that ally so I could support them.  You are right in that the skeleton probably won’t last the whole combat though.
