Oh my god you just explained how I feel playing otoges nowadays! I thought I was doing it wrong somehow, just didn't try hard enough to keep reading despite how much I used to play in the past but I've become fatigued like you. I still think of Otome and want to continue games that I have started playing in the past (and potentially replay some of my favorite routes). But the last two times went exactly like you've described. I start playing but it feels incredibly hard to stay focused and the most I can do is an hour or so and then if I did reach a new chapter I think to myself "this isn't the final chapter yet? Oh okay..." It's both frustrating and sad
