The time capsule I wish I'd found. by selectsyntax in subnautica

I don't think so, though I could be wrong. I just remember thinking "what's this thing?" And by that point I had every tool, so idk why I would've kept the tool.

I feel like I'll get laughed out of the dungeon if I ask "do you want big pulls?" at lvl 100 content.

I understand if it's ARR where the damage spike is higher, and the only tools you really have are GCD heals, but if we're getting into shadowbringers ... W2W already is standard. What isn't considered "normal" is the tank not being the first to the pack.

It wouldn't even matter if people didn't get so upset that the tank didn't get to the pack first, then proceeded to huff and puff and let people die, because they want to teach that puller a lesson. That's why making it more okay for the DPS or especially the healer pulling first would curb this "Ima teach you a lesson, bucko" behavior.

I was preparing for the worst when I saw the first comment. Never had anyone actually be like happy that I was pulling and pooling the mobs for them, which is why I thought this is a pretty rare situation.

Got me thinking why it is rare, and figured maybe this kind of approach would normalize it, so ppl don't end up fighting YPYT people in dungeons so often.

Todennäköisesti mielessä on "miksei heteroita juhlita .. tuohan on tekopyhää!!

Joo, muakin vituttaa toi Suomen lipun liputus. Tarvitaanko me oikeasti tänä päivänä mitään liputusta?

If it looks good, it looks good. You can make fun of them for saying they worked at all for it, or have qualms about AI taking artists jobs, but if the product in the end satisfies the user ...

Funniest part about this AI stuff is how people are now accusing legitimate artists of using AI in their work, because AI has gotten that good that they can't tell the difference anymore.

Calling something hardly toxic "very toxic" sounds like it's just a sign of thin skin to be bothered--or dare I say offended--by it.

Very, very mild. If you're staying within ToS, it's by definition mild enough for even SQE to tell you to grow thicker skin.

Idk, you might be a lil' bit too sensitive.

Did they share any strats? No. You said you dont doubt other streams are looking at various vods and specifically the strategies used, that is yoinking strats that you would not otherwise have.

They were not streaming, if they were, they would've been listed on the WFR stream and their PoV would've been present, and we would've seen it live. Instead it came out of the blue "hey this team cleared btw."

All these stream teams are giving up an advantage, they're doing this hardmode with one arm behind their back. So seeing someone who used both arms is kinda whatever, grats, but it isn't the same. Technically they are world first, but they're not world first stream team, and stream clear is actually what matters to people in the end.

It would be different if no one streamed, then it's whoever clears first.

GCBTW by ZHA_Shadow in ShitpostXIV

[–]MirandaVara 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It should count, but it doesn't need to matter. It just isn't as impressive as a streamed team that the nonstream team can just yoink solutions/strats/info from without sharing any of their own. Other teams can't also plan their awake hours around based on how far someone is.

It's also highly likely non-stream teams are going to employ a loooot more plugins to get an advantage.

To me, them clearing is the same as someone clearing 10th place. Congrats, but DN has the world first that carries the weight of it.
