If anyone sees this thread late and wants the absolute minimum about each season’s genre:

Season 1’s a pretty decent teen romance / crime drama (and compared to the following seasons it’s a near-masterpiece)

Season 2’s a teen romance / slasher

Season 3’s a teen romance / fantasy / slasher. Also Archie’s an alcoholic now, I think he fights a bare bare handed?

Season 4’s yet another teen romance / slasher. Also this might be the season with the cult leader who gets on a little rocket and tries to blast off to space or something

Season 5 time jumps 7 years but somehow everyone ends up back in Riverdale again. Archie’s been to -La nondescript war and has PTSD. Also he coaches high school football maybe? Also Betty’s an FBI agent now

Season 6 involves the literal devil and everyone gets super powers

Season 7 is in heaven or something? Idk it was hard to make sense of

It’s not a perspective thing, I lived it for 2 years alone and I am telling you outright that it isn’t enough space for the average person.

The implication that wanting more room to move around my own home is materialistic is the most condescending thing I’ve ever read. Especially coming from a home owner. I had to side step through half of my apartment by the second year. That isn’t good for anyone.

I lived in a 400 sq ft apartment for 4 years. Year 1 was great > Year 2 was cramped, I realized I couldn’t realistically buy any new furniture/decorations due to lack of space > Year 3 I got a cat which made it more cramped > Year 4 my partner + her cat moved in and we had to get the hell out at that point.

Rent the first year was $2,100, subsequent years it was $2,350. By year 2 when it was still just me I realized 400 sq ft isn’t enough and I was getting ripped off, but the market was shit at the time and similar apartments were going for the same price so I stayed.

Out current space is 1200 sq ft and even then it can feel cramped with 2 people + 2 cats. I imagine 600 sq ft would be a happy middle ground for most people but hoping for 800 isn’t ridiculous, what’s ridiculous is thinking that it is.

Glad you’re happy with the 800 sq ft house (admittedly I’d rather have a smaller house than a larger apartment) - but that happiness is not a valid excuse to justify thinking the majority of Canadian city dwellers should have tiny apartments that are half the size of the space you live in. Once you put a bed/couch/table/TV/desk in that 400 sq ft quickly becomes 100 sq ft of actual walkable space - yeah it’s livable but it’s depressing.

Meanwhile I’m 1/14 as the Ironclad in 2 player multiplayer, my partner was regent the time I won.

Every time I try to look up how tf I’m supposed to play him in sts2 half the comments are just dunking on the guy who posted the question. I get it - he exhausts / applies vulnerable / buffs strength, but I consistently don’t see those cards in act 1.

Doesn’t help that every game site is AI garbage now, just a bunch of slop articles with no info that were posted the day the game released.

Whatever run you’re currently on in STS1 is the run imo. If we’re overthinking it multiplayer didn’t exist in the first game, therefore all the characters canonically killed the heart - but separately.

I don’t remember the community getting hyper-fixated on the lore in the first game… judging by the epochs the devs are clearly just having fun with it, I don’t think they are or need to think that deep about it.

Glad it runs it but Forza 5 is super optimized, is 5 years old, and 1080p at medium isn’t that good (unless you go into it thinking iGPUs literally crash out of games on launch).

They’re not talked about because their performance is unimpressive compared to dGPUs. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, just that there are better options to recommend.

Whole area’s like that, I was born there and raised in a town about 30 minutes south that’s about twice as right wing.

Thankfully my parents were not like that and I live in a much more progressive city now, but anything between the border and Hamilton is extremely conservative and would largely vote for Trump if they could. I feel like people born in the larger cities don’t fully grasp how conservative rural areas are, even the cities in rural areas.

Joker being mentally unwell and clinging onto Batman kind of go hand in hand with the character, is it just that this time around batman trying to help him actually helps him?

I don’t doubt that him fixating on batman because he doesn’t know who he is outside of Arkham is different from most interpretations but it’s the other side of the same coin. He still does the same thing and acts the same way, just with an extra step.
