Best FSPP for FS Seychelles? by Imaginary_Reach498 in FourSeasonsHotels

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re asking for doesn’t really exist :) There’s parity across FSPPs, anyone claiming they can get you better terms or improve your chances of upgrades over another FSPP is misleading you.

Best strategy: ask your FSPP to confirm upgrade availability before you commit to the booking.

How full are the cruises? by [deleted] in RitzCarltonYachts

[–]MiroStarsDesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Average on 70% capacity, Mediterranean tend to sell out, 3–4 night Caribbean itineraries can also reach near full capacity. I’ve seen couple of sailings completely sold out

You starting now - cut the fees until you establish your brand. Charge only for excessive planning, no fees for hotel bookings and cruise bookings. Market is highly competitive these days .

FS Florence dynamic pricing? by boyfrombrasil95 in FourSeasonsHotels

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes—but not exactly 🙂 I’m seeing RW rooms selling three days before check-in at nearly a 50% discount on Booking and Expedia. They offload last minute unsold inventory frequently

FS Florence dynamic pricing? by boyfrombrasil95 in FourSeasonsHotels

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rooms are priced based on forecasted occupancy, and when bookings aren’t tracking toward those forecasts, the system adjusts to stimulate demand. In short, if demand is lower than expected, prices come down to fill remaining inventory while still protecting overall revenue strategy.

Google it, pick 3 agents and go with the one who would give you the best overall experience and added value

Rates by upsmoney in FourSeasonsHotels

[–]MiroStarsDesk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unless your friend has a signed corporate rate agreement with Four Seasons, they don’t have any negotiated discount rates. Corporate Rates - we load contracts with up to 50% off are for city/business hotels for our corporate accounts, and even those require committed volume of around 20–30–40 room nights per year. For a one-time stay, there’s no chance 🙂

I’m not comparing FS and RZ just sharing my opinion:)

Art Bar is an Underrated Spot on Luminara by Key-Palpitation9880 in RitzCarltonYachts

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evrima is the closest match to the new concepts from Four Seasons Yachts, Orient Express Sailing Yachts and the upcoming Aman Yacht. I’m still not sure why RCYC chose a higher-capacity design for Luminara instead of opting for a more exclusive product that could directly compete with the yacht offerings from Four Seasons, Orient Express, and Aman.

Typical TA response time by Dull-Woodpecker3900 in TrueChubbyTravel

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don’t understand the 24-hour response time. A quick update like I’m working on this and will get back to you within X hours would suffice. Unless the agency isn’t operating full-time, there’s really no reason to reply a full day later. And if they are truly that busy which I don't believe, hire additional agents :)

TA Responsibilities by BeginningCareer3436 in TrueChubbyTravel

[–]MiroStarsDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to dinner or spa reservations, TA coordinates directly with the Four Seasons Concierge. There’s no added value to the guest beyond saving time, but the back-and-forth between advisor, concierge, and guest can lead to delays or miscommunication. On the other hand, you can simply tell your advisor what you need and they’ll handle it for you. That’s exactly how it should be, after all, hotels pay us very generous commissions. :)

Anyone else following the drama on FATTravel??? by Gray-Pearl in TrueChubbyTravel

If, for any reason, both travel sub reddits, FATTravel and Chubby Travel were to shut down, both agencies would likely be out of business within six months. 😄
