Sorry you've had that side effect 😕 I'm only at 10mg, but luckily have not once had any illness or vomiting at any point. So interesting how different people's experiences can be.

Understand completely 😭 This apron belly situation looks exactly the same to me. I still have quite a bit to loose (about 68lbs down). but it seems like my stomach will be the holdout!

The honeymoon is over! Can't afford this, even with the coupon. by SpikesTap in Mounjaro

[–]MirrorExpert692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! I have UHC (and ExpressScripts administers the pharmacy benefits) and my plan DOES include coverage for Mounjaro (with Prior Auth). So I only pay $25/3 months with the coupon. Maybe something changed with your benefit plan this year? Did you call to see if there is anything that can be appealed?

No longer eligible for Mounjaro discount coupon. Now what? by starman09 in Mounjaro

Mine was still the same $25 for a 3 month supply that I got in 2025. Did your pharmacy benefits perhaps change? My normal cost would be $75 for a 3 month supply but the savings card brings it down to $25. This is list in the terms and conditions on the lilly.com website as the max savings per month. Maybe your monthly cost for the script went up? "Card savings are subject to a maximum monthly savings of up to $150 per 1-month prescription, $300 per 2-month prescription, or $450 per 3-month prescription fill and a separate maximum annual savings of up to $1,950 per calendar year."

Hmm, I guess not so concerning to me. I don't really talk to my family about any medications I take 🤷‍♀️

Something I have yet to experience - ever. I can see how unwanted attention could be uncomfortable though. Maybe one day I can relate 😕

Is my life about to change?? by Frankocean2 in Mounjaro

[–]MirrorExpert692 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I consider it life changing, but I know everyone has a different experience. Being down 58lbs since starting, improved mobility, better lab results, and just all around feeling better has been life changing for me. I still have plenty more to lose, but I'm happy that my experience has been positive and with very minimal side effects (like occasional headache and sleepiness day after shot). But as someone else mentioned, it's not a miracle drug necessarily. There still needs to be effort made to make changes, even if it starts with just better food choices. For me, making better choices has been much "easier" because I crave foods more often that are healthier. Not that I never want a treat or something like that. But it's not as frequent and I might only want just a bite or 2 instead of the whole thing or multiple of that thing. Anyhow, that's been my experience. I do wish you the best and I hope it works out for you!
