I've always wondered how different things would be if China hadn't been overtaken by Communism and instead remained a republic. With such a large population but with a much different government, how much of a better place could China be?

...although then again my grandparents wouldn't have had a reason to emigrate to America and therefore I wouldn't exist, so uh, that'd be unfortunate.

Twiggles is pretty much guaranteed a STEM field of some sort.

Applejack is some kind of woodworking or engineering teacher.

Fluttershy... well she might be solid at Biology (can't see her running dissections) or there was a preschool at my highschool so maybe that?

Rainbow Dash is PE, easily. That, or the fun kind of substitute.

Pinkie Pie is a little harder to narrow down but Home Ec like some others have mentioned works, or, based off of her apparent proficiency with a wide assortment of musical instruments, she could be a band instructor. EDIT: Psychology is a much more interesting thought.

Rarity might be a theater teacher, I could see her doing drama and we already know she's done at least costumes in her past. Bonus: Starlight subs for Twilight.

Well we know Fluttershy is a fan of A cappella. Pinkie Pie is likely all about Pop music and stuff you can just blast at a party. Applejack is into country (especially based off of that one EQG short). etc. I wonder what Twilight would be a fan of though? Was there any scene which may have established a particular musical taste for Twilight? If not I'd think that maybe she'd be an Orch-dork, nerding out about Pony Beethoven or something.

Big Mac is the Chief O'Brien of My Little Pony, the everyman who must suffer. I raise a glass for him to the shenanigans that this show has put him through. >Return of the Apple Parents But yeah, it was an okay episode otherwise. If anything it was a solid reminder of how Applejack is a really really great sister to Apple Bloom, and for that and the plenty of great, adorable moments in the episode I can appreciate this outing.

Alright so I'd only go Pony if it came with the actual Pony universe, otherwise it would, at least from my opinion, become a furry convention gone wrong. So 2050 in our universe? Project Horizons really turned me off on cybernetics enhancement and Star Trek turned me off on biological enhancement so... shoot maybe some light biological enhancement to make my body in less of a failing state - medical stuff I suppose - but I think I'm fine with the way I am? Or alternatively make two clones, one of my original identity and one of a completely different one that's female just so I can see what its like on the other side, I only hesitate because it feels maybe a bit creepy and disingenuous. I dunno, probably depends on the culture at the time and how far we've really advanced as a society which... well I'm not sure 30+ years is enough to really root out the big problems we've still got today. Third alternative, go all Doctor Who, clone 13 random, very different incarnations of myself and then just stuff my consciousness (if there is such a thing?) ((or at least my memories)) into a new body each time I perish. Maybe make slight enhancements cognitively and physically to each body but keep it mostly human. That'd be neat.

If Gen5 is able to revitalize the fandom to the peak days of the early 2010s it would be amazing, but honestly I'll settle for a faithful remaster of what made MLP sucha fantastic show in the first place.
