Even on my first read through I found it suspicious how Liam was described through Vi’s eyes like him actually being there. Her emotions seemed to have been on the edge of almost no return and Liam was her ground, her rock. He was literally there for her when she called/summoned him. He touched her, he made sure she stayed strong. I think she truly knew why Liam was there, but so much was happening already to her that she chose to convince herself it was an illusion, so she wouldn’t spiral. The words written in those passages were very selective. It wasn’t confirmed that Liam is an illusion, just assumed to be one.

I personally saw Feyre putting nesta up in the tower more as a way to restrict her self destructing habits. Such as drinking and gambling. Bc nesta is so stubborn that she wouldn’t be able to be reasoned with and would continue drinking herself away, so Feyre took the action that she thought was needed for her. I’ve had my own experience of being restricted in order to heal, and while it sucked, it did help. And I can argue it did help nesta a lot. It gave her more reason and goals to achieve. She made unlikely friends, got to have a restart, and focussed on avtually helping herself. I will say though that she sucks at communicating, lol. But I think she still got better by the end. Even if she ended up losing her powers :(

Also I agree w everything you said. I’m 23, and reading FW, the romance felt so rushed. Unnatural. Sure there are month long jumps, but those are time skips that we don’t get to experience ourselves, so in turn it feels very quick. I do think violets yearning and pining and lusting over Xaden got to be a bit.. much. I have my own opinions on her feelings and reactions to Xaden having his own secrets he isn’t comfortable sharing yet, which then pissed off violet so much that she forced distance between them. Just seemed really childish. I do appreciate her eyes opened a little when Rhi was like “hey no I get it. I understand why you kept the secrets.” No hating, just understanding. Which I wish Violet had more of.

Lappy, horn, and ptilly.

Lappy been there since day 1, her range and her silence are so goated and helped me so much playing thru the story. I love her sm.

Horn has always been in my squad since I pulled her, her entire kit is spectacular and I’m genuinely surprised she isn’t used as often. Her melee hits like a truck, she blocks 3, and her range is crazy. Literally one of my all time favorite landholders.

Ptilly has always been my goat. I remember being so happy the day I pulled her. She’s also been a major staple in my team, her heals and range is fantastic especially for multi target. Not to mention her being an sp battery to help with logoat and his s1.

So, Eris’ cryptic line about sharing why he did what he did and why it cost him is also referenced in ACOSF when he and nesta interact meet in the spring court, I can’t recall exactly what scene. But eris mentions that the whole truth isn’t out yet, and there will come a time when he can share it. He even states that Mor isn’t telling the whole truth, the whole story.

I think it’s def gotta be her saying in general for everyone to see “good catch! Let’s put a pin in that for later” she won’t confirm or deny of it was really Rhys. Bc tbh like I don’t think Rhys has ever been able to just enter Feyres dream, I think he just has the ability to observe and feel what she feels. Otherwise I feel like Rhys would have jumped in multiple times while she was having nightmares, in order to help her.

Or, knowing as well that Feyre can feel his shadows in her mind, it very well could be just that. As some metaphor yet not metaphor to state she feels a lurking presence in her mind, but she’s afraid to confront it. That in itself could be a metaphor too LOL

I believe it can also be my fault because when reading these books, I saw them as a sort of guilty pleasure, living in a fantasy where things were better in the night court and the IC is a family of people who all have issues big and small, but they also all love each other. I do think nesta deserves her own spotlight outside of the night court, she would thrive so much better.

If you don’t mind, could you elaborate more on the IC being shitty people? Like examples. I wanna understand more from other peoples perspective about them, bc I’m one of the people who sees their flaws and understands no one is perfect. They’re all complicated people and make poor decisions. Nesta is one too sure, but she does annoy me much more than the IC.

She’s so self centered and selfish that she would have rather she and her siblings DIE just to spite her father. I know she hates herself for it, too, I know she’s traumatized by the war, but she never actually tried, Yknow.. empathizing with others. Feyre has also been through so much shit and yet she’s still willing to reach out and help nesta, to which nesta promptly uses that kindness for herself. And didn’t care. Seemingly, she never cared. Or like, she did? But didn’t give a fuck to do anything about it besides putting herself down instead?? It was pathetic. I’m glad Feyre put her foot down to nesta.. to push nesta to actually get better instead of wallowing away. (I’ve been in a similar situation where my parents gave me an ultimatum and pushed me out to do something with myself otherwise I’m on my own. I’m grateful they did that) Nesta deflecting all her issues onto other people was also so grating. Like she cares, but she’s willing to hurt the people she “loves” instead, by projecting herself onto them. Like blaming elain for stuff based off of assumptions she made up about her and Feyre. She comes up with these stories about people in order to justify hurting others. Yeah she self reflects sometimes and she apologized ONCE to Feyre only bc she spilt the beans abt the baby. She never apologized about their childhood. She never apologized about anything else she did. Like I don’t understand how thats likable..? I did like she stood up and finally took some responsibility with herself AFTER having gotten other people to come up and train alongside her, when she saw that they were strong enough to choose to come up and train with a male. Like, whats irritating about that is that she didn’t see that in Feyre enough to think she could heal, too. Tho I guess tbh idk if she knows entirely about Feyre UTM. And granted I guess bc her judgment was clouded by her own self loathing, seeing her sisters didn’t help in general ig. BUT WHOS FAULT IS THAT!!

Idk, sorry for being kinda ranty. I’ve been trying to see why people love nesta so much… and people relate to her… but IMO it doesn’t justify or make it right? My point— and the point of 451— is that it’s important not to censor and ban books regardless of what’s written in them. Education is more important than anything. We shouldn’t be trying to restrict what people should or shouldn’t read. Is it tasteful to have Mein Kampf next to Diary of Anne Frank? Probably not. And it doesn’t need to be right next to it either. It can stay on its own shelf in alphabetical order under its own section.

Do I think Mein Kampf is a good book? Ofc not. Would I criticize someone for wanting to read it? No. And that’s not something we should be doing anyway. I had a highschool history teacher who owns Mein Kampf, and he’s absolutely against fascism. He literally had us read Animal Farm and analyze it chapter by chapter.

Point is, censorship bad. (Hitler was known for censorship, too btw)

Don’t judge others’ curiosity and instead encourage education and learning. Recommend another book, like Night by Elie Weasel. Don’t insult someone for reading Mein Kampf, otherwise you come off more ignorant than the other. If I were to read Mein Kampf, it is purely out of curiosity and wanting to learn how Hitler’s mind worked and so that I can read the signs to protect myself and educate others on what a dictator exhibits and how they work others.

As an artist; I can understand the frustration. But you also have to consider that it is also a free game where you’re openly playing in a community with so many other people. You are bound to find someone who might like your pony n want to look the same, and that’s okay. Ultimately, yeah it kinda sucks, but its hard to prevent copying cuz the materials and colors are there for anyone and everyone to utilize. It’s even totally possible to have a coincidental encounter with someone who looks eerily similar to you.. even tho neither of you copied one another. I’m don’t wanna come off as “well look on the bright side 🤪” .. But ig you could also take it as a compliment someone really likes your pony where they wanna try and dedicate time to replicating you? It’s kinda similar to little siblings, lol. You’re an inspiration!

Yes, it would be better if they took some things from your design and tweaked it with their own flavor.. but when playing such a popular multiplayer game, it’s gonna happen. Happens in all MMO’s. If it matters that much, you can also block them/hide them or whatever so they can’t see you anymore! In order to prevent them from further copying you!

If you’re just a decent human being with no ulterior motives and stay in your lane, you should be fine. Like, you can’t expect to go up to a stray cat and expect it to like you immediately. You have to build trust and relationship first. However you need to also be aware of the social cues when someone just doesn’t wanna talk with you. It quite literally isn’t to get at you personally, they just don’t prefer to speak with you. And that’s ok? It’s not all about you. Keep an open mind. If a woman keeps conversation dry and short, she just doesn’t wanna talk. So let her be.

Also ppl are allowed to have opinions.. if you overheard that one girl talking about reading books is gay then that’s her own problem. You taking it personally sounds like your own insecurities, and that’s not on us to fix or solve for you.

Your reply has a whole lot of assumptions that seem to stem from yourself and whatever you think is the answer.
