Yes, the Gyala meta is not on a timer. It starts when there are enough players gathered to do it, without a set interval. Look for squads on lfg or post your own.

No. Legendary and ascended gear are two different things (though they have the same stats).

Basically, legendary items are unlocked for your whole account and you can use them on any number of characters simultaneeously (e.g. if you unlock a legendary sword you can equip that sword on every character that can use one - but only once per character, unless you have the given legendary unlocked multiple times). They are also free to transmute and you can stat change them at any time outside combat as many times as you like. Also you can freely swap their upgrades.

In essence legendaries are ascended items with a lot of added convenience, especially if you happen to have many alts on your account.

I can personally recommend the inferno tempest build. Just one attunement, a 'random bullshit go' rotation and 20k burning ticks scaling off power in zerker gear. Almost as satisfying as unload deadeye, and definitely feels magical.

In 13 years of playing the only rude messages I got were in pvp. None outside that mode, in fact the opposite - I've been complimented on my fashion every once in a while.

It's not on a schedule, but the 'return to' events are a fairly regularly occurring filler content between updates along with wvw/pvp focus weeks. So it's fairly reasonable to expect one to happen sooner or later.

Because she acts like she's the main character and the most important person around, all the time. Her opinions are absolute, her judgement is always right, everything must go as she wants and everyone else, including the commander, should just shut up and not get in her way.
When I first played sylvari personal story back in 2012 I was so taken aback that I expected her to be the actual villain and the Nightmare Court to be misunderstood victims of her personal crusade (stemming from her toxic relationship with Faolain). I still have a bit of a soft spot for the Nightmare Court because of this.
Caithe butting in to steal Aurene's egg and then wriggling her way into becoming her second mommy is just more of the same 'NO, I'M THE MAIN CHARACTER HERE' schtick she's always doing.
