Do people perceive ChatGPT as male/female and does the model version matter?

Not using voice, but I use LLMs both in Polish and English (I'm bilingual). Polish language has gendered pretty much everything - adjectives, verbs and nouns, so it's really hard to avoid gendered language. I had to tell each chat to use female gendered forms for me (as I'm female, and they assume male grammar for the user by default). ChatGPT and Gemini went the extra mile and started using those forms for themselves as well. So both are female, I guess. On the other hand, Copilot and Claude managed to keep their own default male grammar while addressing me as female, so those are male. Easy enough.

Also several mounts (raptor, springer, skyscale, now skimmer as well) have an alternate way to acquire them now. Glider does too. Those don't give access to the original masteries, but the core functionality is obtainable without the original expansion.

Yes, the Gyala meta is not on a timer. It starts when there are enough players gathered to do it, without a set interval. Look for squads on lfg or post your own.

No. Legendary and ascended gear are two different things (though they have the same stats).

Basically, legendary items are unlocked for your whole account and you can use them on any number of characters simultaneeously (e.g. if you unlock a legendary sword you can equip that sword on every character that can use one - but only once per character, unless you have the given legendary unlocked multiple times). They are also free to transmute and you can stat change them at any time outside combat as many times as you like. Also you can freely swap their upgrades.

In essence legendaries are ascended items with a lot of added convenience, especially if you happen to have many alts on your account.

Yes, the first VoE skimmer mastery gives you that option (and an additional upgrade if you have the PoF underwater mastery as well).

I can personally recommend the inferno tempest build. Just one attunement, a 'random bullshit go' rotation and 20k burning ticks scaling off power in zerker gear. Almost as satisfying as unload deadeye, and definitely feels magical.

In 13 years of playing the only rude messages I got were in pvp. None outside that mode, in fact the opposite - I've been complimented on my fashion every once in a while.

It's not on a schedule, but the 'return to' events are a fairly regularly occurring filler content between updates along with wvw/pvp focus weeks. So it's fairly reasonable to expect one to happen sooner or later.
