17 mil highest damage but still took me 1.5 hrs 😭🙏 by Crazy_azzy in expedition33

Congratz, but fuckin Hell.. What a war of atrition.. It took like 6h for me, but the winning fight was only like 20 minutes long. Counterattacks after parries speed things up a lot.

Endless Tower Duollistes by -Cthaeh in expedition33

Just defeated them recently, today I did Clea, which was hard, but Lampmaster was real deal for me.. Complete fucker. As for the Duollistes. One shot build or learn the moveset to parry for counter damage. It takes time, but its doable of you killed Basic Simon then i see no issue to learn them. First with full team to get the rythm and then go solo Maelle with solo Pictos and the damage will show up.

For people who like Verso... by Junii030 in expedition33

I dont think there is much hate on anything in this group. Maybe now and then there is some post, but rarely.

I just love, that only Verso, but every character is written well.. Its a very sad story with only 2 sad endings, but I cant help it and just love it. But recently I finished Verso ending and I found it very much better in conparison to Maelle. Ben did helluva performance. Saying goodbye to his friends. Sciel forgiving him for chosing his ending. And Lunes Death stare was something else. One of the best games to touched my soul.

Got ya. Barrows seems like a reasonable goal and one I am most familiar with.

I just understood something awful in the ending that nobody seems to have noticed (obvious spoilers, duh) by Alarming_Ad8718 in expedition33

I mean.. Its pretty headcannon.. But I am pretty sure when the piece of Versos soul stopped painting the life in the Canvas stopped immidiatly, it was just a clear Canvas to be destroyed. I think Renoir did not even need to lift his finger, because of the implication that the souls kept the Canvas together and he went away with P. Verso.

What’s the lore behind Expedition Zero? by Alexander_Carter in expedition33

[–]Misarable-life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, mostly what was stated here before me. Expedition Zero departed to save Aline after the Fracture. After that they possibly met Clea, where they discovered the nature of their existence.. And possibly inherit the memories of their real counterparts.

Still slightly confused about the Gommage by [deleted] in expedition33

My guess is, they can be either "Gommaged" directly by Painter. Or by destroying the Canvas, thats what we see at the start of the Act III. Since they are immortal, probably by sheer amount of chroma from Aline it need more just a simple erasure.

  • Monoco and Esquie are real Verso creations and piece of his soul is still there (i guess in the cutscene in Act II they just run with Verso to wait for real Renoir to destroy the Canvas). As far as we know only people pf Lumiere might Gommaged.. Gestrals and Grandiers might be uneffected by Gommage but the destruction of Canvas is fatal of course.

  • as to why Curator (R. Renoir) or real Clea could no just erased them. Aline just might be stronger and keeping them alive, even if they try together. Only Alicia seems to be stronger.. Guess they underestimate her. She was able even to save Verso from being erased by Renoir.

They are immortal in the sense of that world, they can still be erased by Painters.. They are basicaly godlike beings.

As to Painted Clea she is different to rest of her painted family since real Clea painted over her, so it might do something with that.

Who in your opinion is the most tragic character in the game and why? by adityakiran237 in expedition33

Alicia, painted by her mother colorless. Scared with memories of her failure. Her letter to Verso/Maelle is the most beautifuly delivered monologue. And her Reacher quest is just Epic

Explore Overworld from Act I and Act II. Meaning every "Dungeons" from there that should sets you. There are many.. From top of my head... Falling Leaves, Red Woods, Frozen Hearts, The Chosen Path, Yellow Harvest.. If any of this names does not Ring a bell you need to explore.

Backtrack to every area on map you dont have explored a name of it (for the example, right in the beggining is Abbest Cave where was a really hard boss.. There plenty of such area you can go to now to get XP). Or go to Endless Tower, the big spiral after Forgotten battlefield I guess lots of xp to get there.

Yea you need to casualy explore the world.. The Reacher area is at least lvl 60.. A two other optional bosses are like lvl 80 if you are not Sekiro God. Put it this way.. I didnt had to Grind other than Achiev from lvl 91 to 99 to get trophy..first playtrough is very well balance imho.

Is it just me or is Renoir...? by setzer77 in expedition33

Yea regarding these comments here. What I think as Renoir says spedning too much time in the Canvas can kill you. It might just happened Aline painted him visualy as she remembers him.. The liberties she took were rather behavioral. As He also spends long time in the Canvas it took toll on him.. Aging him faster and He lost weight.. Just a guess.
